So after exactly three hundred and fifty four days, I finally made my second post on the DS blog! Hurray!

Yesterday was filled with funny/weird dota matches. Kim(SilentYetDeadly/Drifterz) and I played with my high school batch mate Jude Calabio, but naturally our opponents feared our combined LSGH powarz and left than 30 mins into the game. Kim got disconnected after the first game so Jude and I bullied a couple noobs(magnataur and bradwarden) using Lich and a Battle Techies: LINK.

After eating fried chicken for dinner, my long-time friend and high school batchmate Ren Siccion invited me to play Dota with his brother Ral, and cousins Ric and Richard at GG shop to shop room 5. The first game was fun, but they left one by one when we breached their middle lane. Oh well.

The highlight of the day however was the second game with the Siccion clan. Our opponents were missing 2 members so Ric joined them and made it a 4 on 4 match.

Chard(Sand King) took the top lane against Doom, Ral(Lina) took the middle lane against Kardel and Ren(Purist and I go the bottom lane against Ric(Gondar) and Raigor.

Ren and I have one early game tactic when paired with each other with these two particular heroes. And that’s to be as aggressive as possible and try to get an early first blood. It’s simple really: rush in like vikings and whack our enemies to death(both Tiny and Purist’s base damage are high) and hopefully with Purist’s level one Degen Aura and a well timed level 1 avalanche and purification, get the first blood by level 2.

And we ALMOST pulled off too.

But suddenly,

That was so close! Oh well, we regrouped, gathered enough mana for a second viking assault and succeeded this time! YAY!

And so Ric Siccion is alone against the four of us.

And that he did. That he did.

We agreed to only use the mid lane, and being the cocky bastards that we are, we underestimated the legendary Ric Siccion. A mistake no one should ever make.

Suddenly:

Ok, he’s still a fragile agi hero though. With enough disables and luck, we took him down.

With her new found godly item, Lina decimated Raigor. But wait, even though Gondar’s dead, he still has his micromanaging skillz.

Lina fell to her doom and so does the Rapier, but wait!

TOUCH DOWN!

With the divine in his arsenal, Chard bravely faced the enemy!

However, Ric’s micromanaging skillz are too great even for someone who wields a Divine Rapier.

Meanwhile, I was busy farming

When suddenly,

OMG

After another round of Rapier Football, Chard successfully got Kardel’s rapier. Hurray!

Moments later:

WTF, Kardel has another divine!?

And I was too slow to pick it up and blink away too T_T

Yeah, we’re royally screwed.

And so ends the story of four dudes getting owned by one guy.

I shall pass this tale(and replay) to my grandchildren so that they may learn from my experience with the God of all games, Ric Siccion.
