After the break up of the NoMets Team, Team Chill was born. Not to be left behind, the other half of NoMets, formed their own team, backed up by former members of Teams Blinque-Tech, DC Clan, and Sick. The team is named CORPOration, because as they say… “When we play, we mean business.” CORPOration is composed of

Richard King “RiorEN” Padama
John “JeZtAh” Ching
Chian “` c K” Coronel
Jeffrey “bAdZ” Bajado
Duke “` d K” Dalumpines

Jay, Rioren, and Jeztah were part of NoMets. Chian was the leader of Blinque-Tech which was toppled by Duke’s DC Clan, while Badz was a member of Sick. Together, these six have praticed hard against Team Chill. They have won, and they have lost. In one particular match game I watched, CORPO showed that fighting against the odds can win it all for you. Despite the early victories of Chill, CORPO persevered and fought hard to win the game. That same night, they also conqured the newest BoyzTrek Team, Team ChiCo.

Team ChiCo is so named because it is a hybrid of Chill and CORPO. It is composed of DoTA players who also played during the DCE; DCG 07 last July. ChiCo’s members are:

While ChiCo is considered as the underdog among the BoyzTrek Teams, they have the determination to fight it out against the teams who are considered as stronger and unbeatable.

If new teams were born, a team was also reborn. One very known Davao DoTA Team is the legendary qT. While most other players still had to discover the joys of DoTA Team qT was already lording it over the DoTA scene. The team’s members are very much known in the local gaming scene:
Neil Jorge “zoe” Lao
Hans “hans” Lim
Peter Raymund “dro” Capili
Gerard “angelboy” Jalipa
Karlo “sobs” Sobiaco

These names used to elicit fear. But now that most of them have supposedly retired from competitive gaming, people wonder if they still have what it takes to live up to their legend. Zoe, Hans, and Angel Boy played together as part of Team Sick during the DCE: DCG 07. But this is the first time, in a long time, that the original six players of qT will fight together.

Expect these three teams, along with Team Chill, to play in their best fighting form. Although born merely a few days before the eliminations begin, these teams were born ready.
