Last Thursday night, the CORPOration battled against Mineski and registered another win in the Philippine DotA Improvement Project 2008 Season 1 Division 1.

The CORPOration was led by Jay “yAJQt” Arabia and represented by regular players John Jester “JeZtAh” Ching, Duke “dDUKEe” Dalumpines, Neil Bryan “subangKYUT” Padilla, and Christian Lorenzo “Chian” Coronel. On the other side of the match, Mineski leader Ronald Robins “Roro” Robinson led Dix Robinson, Mark “MarkyMark” Dueñas, El, and Kendrick Boris “Khen” Sy.

Davao teams led by the CORPOration and Ch¡LL lorded over other teams as they won their Week 1 matches for the first season of the Philippine DotA Improvement Project 2008. Ch¡LL started the week with a big win over Mineski, while CORPO won over Project D last Friday.

• Week 2 Matches have been online since last week. Please set your matches ASAP.

• Each team is allowed to re-schedule a match ONCE. It is only considered a request to re-schedule if the request is done at least 3 hours before the current schedule. Example: If your game schedule is at 6 pm, a request to re-schedule must be done at 3 pm that day.

• A team loses by default if they are not complete within 30 minutes after the appointed start time.

• Winning teams are REQUIRED to submit their game replay to riajose@yahoo.com on or before every Monday (ie today is the deadline to submit the replays for Week 1 Matches). The win of teams that fail to submit on the deadline will not be counted, and both teams involved in the match will not register a win or a loss for that week. File name format PDIP_Div_1_Winner_vs_Loser.w3g or PDIP_Div_2_Winner_vs_Loser.w3g

For an unspecified reason, Team Baguio has backed out of PDIP 2008 Division 1 and has not expressed interest in joining Division 2.

Due to scheduling problems, CDO All-Stars of Cagayan de Oro City has backed out from the Right to Fight Round of the Philippine DotA Improvement Project Division 1.

Congratulations to Teams Pag-Ibig of Metro Manila, TNS of Cebu, and Baguio! These three teams are now official contenders for Division 1.

Division 1 eliminations begin on January 14, 2008.

Last night, the Philippine DotA Improvement Project commenced with the first match of the first week of the Right to Fight Round. Fighting for the chance to battle with the best teams of the Philippines were Teams Pag-ibig of Metro Manila and TNS of Cebu. They played a single match in the Extended League (-XL) mode, in v6.49b using patch 1.21. Pag-ibig won the toss coin and picked the Sentinel side.
