Teams arrived ready for battle.
Inactive teams were resurrected.
Old players re-emerged.
New teams were born.
New stars shined.

But at the end of the day… no one was surprised that the battle-tested Team Ch¡LL of BoyzTrek Internet Cafe emerged as the champions. Once again, ChiLL leaders Christopher Henry “Top” Lopez and Rovic John “Yukz” Perez, and players Bernard Dale “Burnz” Flores, Nelson Jeffrey “Ding” Lao, and Franco “Cocoy” Villaroman proved that they are the best in Davao City.

The surprise of the day, was the semifinals face-off between Teams CORPOration and High. CORPO led by Jay Nolvic “yaJQt” Arabia, with members John Jezter “Jeztah” Ching, Richard King “RiorEN” Padama, Duke “dDUKEe” Dalumpines, Christian Lorenzo “Chian” Coronel, and Neil Bryan “Subang” Padilla just won the Mindanao Qualifiers of the GGC Philippine Regional Wars. However, for the tournament, Rioren opted to play with Team High (formerly known as Saints). Team High is composed of young talented DotA players with little tournament experience. The team was formed and being trained by Rioren. Since the team was lacking one player, Rioren opted to play and lead the team with its members Ralph “Rez” Lim, Dominique “Dom” Chua, Kenneth “Ken” Dy, and Robert Benjamin “Maj” Geneblazo and substitute Willard “Wiwi” Chua. When the semifinals came, CORPO and High played against each other. Rioren’s knowledge of the CORPO’s strategies and game tactics, obviously gave High their much needed edge which helped them in banning and picking heroes, and game play.
