Declaration of Persona Non-Grata

Posted by polar on October 29th, 2008 | Visited 5486 times, 2 so far today

DotAStrategy.com (DS) is declaring player Rovic John Perez also known as Yukz and Yukihiro Hesagawa as a persona non-grata.

A persona non-grata is defined as a person unwelcome in a company or club. DotAStrategy.com, as a business entity, has the right to declare unwanted persons as a persona non-grata to the business.

Perez has been declared as a persona non-grata as per recommendation of the undersigned, and with the consent of the head and owner of DotAStrategy.com. It is not based on a personal bias, or an isolated incident. The decision to declare Perez as such is a result of a number of incidents and situations that involves not the DotAStrategy.com group, but other gaming teams, players, and groups, as well. Some allegations lodged against Perez are disloyalty, unruly behavior, unprofessionalism, and selling out. It is the judgment of the DotAStrategy.com management that Perez has exhibited values and qualities, as a person and as a gamer, that should not be encouraged in other gamers.

It is, therefore, a policy of DS not to deal with this person or any team or company he is associated with, in any way or form. All teams, players, companies, and sponsors are also advised not to deal with this person.

Could you please specify what kinds of incident/s Rovic John Perez been involved with? The allegations on Mr. Perez is very grave and therefore needs clarification a.s.a.p.

With all due respect, I have been into this industry for a long time and have seen almost every kind out gamer out there. It is to my knowledge that Mineski will not tolerate and will not have any player that you so roughly described in your post.

It is disheartening that this kind of issue will go out in the community wherein we all hope to foster camaraderie and professional gaming in our country. We are not happy with this kind of bickering and we all need an explanation on this issue.

Mineski will always support ethical, professional gaming and please do not forget Mr. Perez represented our country as part of the Phil. contingent for the World Cyber Games. For this reason, I do not think those accusations that you are saying is true…we have seen him play for Mineski.

We all need an explanation on the accusations and to be fair we need his side for answers.

SUNGGO!! LOL!! yUkZ, cno ako? bat ako nand2? tsk2 bad..

  16. polar Says:

The declaration is a corporate and professional decision by the DotAStrategy.com staff and management based on reports and observations of Perez’s performance and behavior as a player.

Given that he has been an excellent player, we do not wish to encourage his behavior based solely on his skills. He has been alleged and proven to be an unprofessional gamer both as a Davao gamer, and even as a Philippine representative. It is even a known FACT that Perez has been removed from the Mineski roster due to various reasons, none of which related to his skills as a player.

Allegations against Perez are numerous and embarassing to be even mentioned and enumerated one by one in a public forum such as this.

Perez has already been given the chance to explain himself, but he has chosen to deny the basic facts surrounding the latest incident.

The decision was reached without the consent or knowledge of Perez’s past and present teammates or colleagues. The decision is, therefore, the independent, unbiased decision, of the DotAStrategy.com organization. And the organization is, thus, firmly standing by this decision.

@Lon: If you don’t like bickering, why is someone from the same IP address as yours flaming Ria? Clearly someone on your end needs some manners. If you want to be professional, try being one yourself first.

  18. aiwem Says:

    OMG!!!
    This is so mean!

  19. `tOp Says:

STOP IT ALREADY! IM NOSEBLEEDING! SPAM! LOL! YUKZ, KUNG SI K1 PA.. “CHARDS 2 EKSPIRIENS LANG NA SYA YUKZ!” (karemember ka ani?, katong gi palong nimo ang unit ni ding.. lol )

  20. chunkieneski/Lon Says:

    @ drew

On the issue of flaming Ria, I clearly do not have any thing to do with it. Please bear in mind that I have written this post in Mineski Grounds a computer shop that has 100+ pc’s with same IP. Please do not assume solely on that basis and please do not change the topic on the thread. Thank you!

On the case that Mr. Perez was removed from the Mineski Roster, we would like to clarify that Mr. Perez is still in the team. Our Manager just redrafted the team to better complement their different playing styles.

It is very unfair to assume these kinds of allegations to Mr. Perez. We find it disheartening that you have to judge a player solely based on allegations without specifying a certain event. Just one event will do, even if it is embarrassing I’m sure people will understand.

  21. rambol Says:

    Oh, the drama!

  22. drew Says:

@Lon: I wasn’t changing the topic. Nevertheless, I can change the topic whenever I want because I own this site. If you can’t handle that, that’s not my problem is it? The fact of the matter is you and that flamer share the same IP address. Whoever that is knows Ria and is coming from Mineski Grounds. It’s not like Ria hangs out at Mineski, eh?

Now, our stance about this issue won’t change. We will not go out of our way to explain our policies. We simply refuse to deal with this person from now on. If you decide to keep him on your team, that’s your choice.
