*sigh*
this kills nearly every single strategy…
September 16th, 2009 at 10:29 pm
I just don’t get it. A silencer dealing 400hp/200mana in 8 seconds at level 7 just seems imba to me, and almost every hero who just has to click and hit becomes even more imba. i just don’t get it T____T
September 17th, 2009 at 1:08 am
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too many damned nerfs!!
How the heck am I..
Argh.
I was so looking forward to 6.63..
But this…

September 17th, 2009 at 1:26 am

September 17th, 2009 at 1:50 am
nice, it seems they buffed everyone who doesnt need buffing, like phantom lancer. and did no shit for those that really needed, like sniper and faceless void
September 17th, 2009 at 2:07 am
I think frog is trying to change meta game…
Down with the gankers! =P
September 17th, 2009 at 2:57 am
So now Trax has a range of 625?
Surely, SURELY that can’t be right.
At her lvl 4 frost arrows its next to impossible to get away, now it will be impossible -_-
September 17th, 2009 at 3:30 am
w0w…new phase boots…gonna try it…:)
September 17th, 2009 at 4:38 am
Wow galing ng phase boots….
September 17th, 2009 at 5:20 am
Gonna test this… Looks quite nice to me, even if I don’t really understand how all of this will influence the gameplay…
Let’s have fun! And thank you Frog for keeping moving on!
September 17th, 2009 at 7:21 am
Lol at Ench. Lol at PL. Lol at Huskar. Spider. Axe. NS.
September 17th, 2009 at 7:39 am
Damn, why are they buffing even more the carries! D:!
September 17th, 2009 at 12:04 pm
Guys,
Icefrog does not care about loser pub strategy..he’s looking at the strategies at the very top. If you watch/participate in high-level events, these changes will make sense to you. If you are a low-level pub, where people have no teamwork, then the changes will seem strange.
September 17th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
this sucks.. i hate the new map .. so many useles and stupid changes.. wht was dumbfrog thinking
September 17th, 2009 at 3:14 pm
I am SO NOT fan of the new boots!!! What the heck is that???? Phase Boots have now become the “battle boots” and treads are more like supportive, right??
But why??? Wasn’t it more fair the way it was?? You used to buy treads to dps and phase boots to run; what’s more fair than this???
But now, with phase boots, you can BOTH dps AND run!! I mean omfg!!!!!!
And what about Heart of Tarrasque??? NO regen AT ALL during battle???? WTF anyway!!!!!!!
September 17th, 2009 at 4:13 pm
i think its good to change it up a little every time. Thanks Icefrog (:
September 17th, 2009 at 4:16 pm
I don’t like how some of these changes are forcing us to build certain routes. Heart is potentially useless in fights, and so now most people will go satanic. Same with the treads, forcing everyone to go phaseboots or travels. One of the best parts of dota, is to go different builds, and it should reward you instead of punishing you. I find myself going cookie cutter builds, simply because they’re more reliable and won’t hurt me.
September 17th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
phase is the new treads, new treads are now dead.
September 17th, 2009 at 6:16 pm
WTF
It seems that Icefrog is crazy.
He is buffing already imba heroes(Drow with increased range? PL With longer shadows?)
and letting those nerfed heroes to rot.
Damnit, I tought that it was bad enought he destroying the Aghanim, but now he destroys Phase Boots AND Treads.
FFS, Stop destroying DOTA!
September 17th, 2009 at 8:02 pm
a true pro will be able to adapt to any change that the frog will throw no matter how imba it iz… lets js all enjoy it and thank icefrog for it…
September 17th, 2009 at 9:15 pm
what does it mean by “Imported a custom model for him that has his selection box fixed” for Bounty Hunter? I dont understand what that means. thanks
September 18th, 2009 at 4:42 am
CRAP. I can’t play it with my dotA version
September 18th, 2009 at 5:46 am
ffs was icefrog on drugs? yeah nerf many of my favorite heroes, but buff the already imba heroes. jesus so many unnecesary nerfs
September 18th, 2009 at 5:54 am
so the new Heart won’t regen while tanking? zzz
September 18th, 2009 at 12:35 pm
i think that icefrog has done many stupid changes and this is gonna hurt too much…why could some1 buff PL and traxex?this is so lol so icefrog plz change these on 6 63b and dont forget treads and phase boots!!!
September 18th, 2009 at 2:14 pm

I am so disappointed you ignored this…
September 18th, 2009 at 3:06 pm
Well, most of the changes looks good with the eyes on high level play.
The thing i don’t like is the new Phase Boots since they now don’t give any armor, and lower ms.
Also the new bloodstone doesn’t really suit me, I’m a big fan of Storm Spirit and now i can’t reach high in-battle regen with BS nor HoT. I guess the frog want’s to quick down the fights in order to make the game go faster.
September 18th, 2009 at 3:07 pm
lol ezalor is so awesome now
September 18th, 2009 at 4:48 pm
wah? treads are so weird… i reckon the str gain shud b 16, and int as 10, cuz barely any1 uses the int points. its pretty awesome overall(except na’s new mana burn, i just got burnt 360 mana every 5 seconds :()
September 19th, 2009 at 6:55 am
w0w…I think I should play 6.63 a bit so I can adapt to it…well I like the new phase boots…so IMBA…and NA’s manaburn..cause it’s only for ints and annoys the ints…well gotta play… ^_^
September 19th, 2009 at 7:03 pm
okay lng naman ang mga changes mas ma eexite ka dahil la na masyadong mag gagank!! waahahaha!! At xempre pina imba pa si silencer at furion!!
Philippines BANAT!!
September 19th, 2009 at 8:20 pm
@oooabc123
its because very little ppl ARE using the int thats y he buffed it… imagine everyone using luna and froggy increases her glaive bounces, base dmg, armor, range, lucent beam dmg, etc
September 19th, 2009 at 11:54 pm
so many stupid changes…….I don’t like it….so many Imba heroes….. phase boots is good but now treds is useless…..tarasque sux!…..T_T…*aw….now looking 4ward to a not so stupid 6.64 b……
September 20th, 2009 at 4:53 am
Erm… can anyone explain whats exactly icefrog meant when he indicated:
Bounty Hunter
- Imported a custom model for him that has his selection box fixed
Please explain this to me asap, thanks
September 20th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
WHY IS 6.63 SO FUCKING BAD?!
Hi I’m icefrog, OHHHH I KNOW LET’S GIVE TRAX MORE BUFFING. Ffs.
</3
September 20th, 2009 at 12:30 pm
Oh and btw, @ the dude.
Sometimes if you clicked on Gondar, it wouldnt work, was annoying as fook.
September 20th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
Hey guys, did anyone think of this:
Who would now prefer to have treads on agility than have phase boots????
Hahaha!!! It’s just so lame!!
September 20th, 2009 at 8:25 pm
what is the new treads? it’s not included in the changelog
September 22nd, 2009 at 8:57 am
Nearly all my Axe items went bad.
Phase Boots lost armor
Khadgar lost armor
Heart is useless in battle
It’s sad but at least it will be easier to kill tanks.
Now, to find a substitute tank item…
September 22nd, 2009 at 1:22 pm

someone has to keep copy&pasting this at least each 10 replies…
one thing… the only 2 heroes that heart is useful for in battle are Templar Assasin and Abbadon…
I just can’t understand how that can be helpful in high level play >_<
September 24th, 2009 at 4:30 am
Thanks ICEFROG! For sure I will be owning every game because of the changes! :))
September 24th, 2009 at 5:51 am
WHATT!!! this is screwed up…the heart no regen in battle….WAT. so many nerfs. can’t understand even after reading… this

No new hero. . . . . . .
September 25th, 2009 at 6:10 pm
some of the debuffs and buffs make sense if you read the post carefully and like its much better for some of the people who are a casual player or a pro. its new to adjust to but hey ive tryed out the map allready with sandking and his cool down is much better with the updates and everything using sandstorm
