LoL open Beta

In 2 days we will see all stats reset (again) and the pre-season will start and continue until early 2010, during this time you will be able to get your summoner level up and unlock your favourite Champions (with the 10 free champions rotating regularly)
On top of this, before the the first official ladder season begins Riot plans on introducing a heap of features currently not in the game, these include clans, teams, tournaments, ladders, draft mode, as well as additional content such as new champions and maps.
Other hot~ish topics in the forums include a fully integrated VoIP system, other game modes (CTF, KotH) and Replays all of which are being taken rather seriously and various posts from Zileas would suggest that the “top men” in the office are working their butts off to make it possible.
Anyway, what are you waiting for, if you haven’t played yet, flood the games with noobs

LoL aint working fot me, it doesnt feel like DOTA, cuse of some changes:
no hills, thats right theres no strategic in lane fog, no deny(they said it was to make the game equal for melee and ranged heroes, if thats the point why dont they cancel last hitting to?) and for last, with diferent maps it will be hard to get use to the woods and blush(its a spot where everyone becomes invisible) on every diferent map, i hope HoN is better I didnt try it yet but its on dl

quite simply it isn’t DotA.
Lane fog? use the brush, at least you know it is there, hill fog in wc3 is unrealistic.
denying is a stupid mechanic to begin with, it encourages turtleing and other boring tactics, ranged heroes still dominate DotA, it is stupid, how many melee dominated lineups do you see?
finally i think you will find that you very quickly memorise map layouts. i always have, hell i can pick up a 64 game i haven’t played in years and play the entire thing from memory, good games will embed stuff like this in you.

Wtf? I’ve played HoN and it does have other maps. The problem with that though is that hardcore dota players only play the one that is the exact copy of the dota one.
