In an emphatic appeal to the top DotA Teams in the country, Ronal Robinson Robins, better known as “Roro” apologizes for Team Mineski’s heart-breaking loses versus Malaysia and Indonesia in the GG Game Asian DotA Championship Tournament.

He then proceeds to evaluate the current situation of the top Philippine teams compared to those abroad. Most teams abroad, specifically China and Malaysia dedicate significant work hours to playing and practicing serious match games with their respective practice teams (second teams). Philippine teams, meanwhile, lack second teams to practice with. Furthermore, there is a shortage of high level competitive tournaments in the country.

In behalf of Mineski, Roro is proposing an online invitational league for the top teams in the country. He is inviting Teams Papi, Project D, ZZZ of Metro Manila, Teams X and Topia of Cebu, and Teams Ch¡LL and CORPOration of Davao City to join the invitational league in its first edition commencing this November 2007.

The aim of the league is to provide a venue for the top teams to practice serious games against each other. Ultimately, the league aims to increase the competitiveness of the teams involved in terms of picking, strategies, and skills. All league games will be played in the Extended League mode as it is the trend in other countries and in international leagues. Roro has named the league as the Philippine DotA Improvement Project (PDIP).

Roro ends his invitation with the following message:

HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE THE WILL TO PURSUE THE DREAM… GL TO US ALL!

Hopefully, the PDIP will take flight bearing remarkable results for the teams involved and the greater Philippine DotA Community, as well.
