Last weekend, SM Megamall became the battleground of Metro Manila gamers as they converged for the Manila leg of the Asus World GameMaster Tournament (WGT).

In the fight for third, Homeboys defeated team Theos led by former Ninja player Yoma. And in the finals, Philippine Team Mineski won a tight match against Team EZ.

Mineski is composed of team leader Ronald Robinson “Roro” Robins, Rhymel “Memel” Olete, Rick “Dix” Robins, and former Ninja players Jose “Bong” Silva Jr. and Tony “ynot?” Mazinni. Meanwhile team EZ is led by Marvin “Pasky” Pascual with members Dustin Jayson Ty, Joker Tagle, Jerick “Pute” Paulo, and Roland “Toys” Pantoja.

All four teams will be playing against Davao and Cebu teams in the WGT Finals at SM Marikina on October 25 and 26, 2008.
