power only looses when it's holder dies...

and Divine rapier is the representation on of power for DotA(i think...)

Before Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse was fixed, it turned units into a random critter, though it specifically says that it turns them into sheep.

What you stated happens on regular 6.38b. In Cloud_str's 6.38b AI map, it doesn't happen.

But you can lifesteal from the Tree of Life. I guess it's because it's the Tree of Life.

eul's scepter of divinity is named to Euls creator of DotA he creates v5.84 also...
guinsoo scythe of vise was named after guinsoo one of the creator of DotA 6.xx
and was only continued by icefrog of clan TDA
