Guinsoo becomes weaker

i notice this when i played 6.50, guinsoo now requires ultimate orb. when used by int heroes, it only adds 35 damage
while agi and str heroes 10 damgage only.. i mean guinsoo has been commonly used and is very powerful, but why icefrog change it? IT SUCKs!

He wants the Cyclone Stick stand-alone and limitless so it'll be useful throughout the game. IMO Guinsoo is still useful.

One more thing, I think IceFrog hates Voodoo being abused.

Yes, I agree, it's become more expensive and less battle-useful. All you get is 35 damage, but you get 10 agi and 10 strength but Guinsoo is meant to be a battle item. We have something with similar effect, only it's not in stats. We call it Aghanim's Scepter. It's too bad that they had to change guinsoo...

With the new version, eul and guinsoo will be spammable. So its better to nerf it.

Let's try compare, shall we?

Old Guinsoo:
5175 Gold
+25 Int
+35 damage
+150% mp regen

New Guinsoo:
5875 Gold
+35 Intelligence
+10 Stength
+10 Agility
+200% mana regen

Not only is the new guinsoo more exensive, the items are hard to save up for. What I like about the old guinsoo was that the items needed are cheap, and you can get them piece by piece. It no longer gives +35 atack, but now has 50% more mana regen, +10 more int and +10 str and agi.

I personally like the old guinsoo better(especially for battle mages), but the new one is ok too. It's a tadd too expensive now, though. I bet it's because it's being abused too much.

It's still worth having, especially if you're a one-man-disabler like Lion or Atropos with BOTH Guinsoo and Eul's AND Orchid. You can disable a whole opposing team! Or a very unlucky enemy, imagine chaining all those disables to just one guy? LOL!

He's encouraging people to use Rhasta and Lion more often (both heroes have voodoo as a skill).

IMO, the new guinsoo , is just some 2-% not much easier/better than the old one. but the sucky part is, you cant form it with euls anymore, so this really ruins my DK and tiny build

IMO icefrog was trying to make guinsoo a more 'all rounded' item by including in the STR and AGI bonus, because there are some non-int heroes that use guinsoo as well

guinos is all around better but it prolly ticks some ppl who liked it for its battlemage purposes in previous games. i for 1 had nortom as my favorite character and now orhcid AND guisnos got changed in a bad way. i guess its just personal prefrence

I think icefrog wants the heroes that have the skill to exclusively have it. like rhasta and lion for voodoo and magina,QoP etc for the blink.

i dont like seeing the idea of unlimited euls in dota =/ , causes me to shout voilently at my moniter after the continious disable throughout the game.

I think most of you are forgeting that as of a few versions ago Guinsoo and Eul's share a cool down. This remains even though there are no longer charges on euls. Meaning you can't permidisable the way some of you were saying.
