Man good is an understatement. U r better than the best. Dont rush the story. Let it take its time. Continue it properly and dont finish it of for the sake of finishing it.

Chapter 9 - Angel

As the huge mountain giant launched it's body at Magina, he blinked behind the giant and slashed. Before his moonblade could touch the huge giant, it spun around with agility that belied its size.

*Clang*

The moonblade slashed harmlessly at the handle of the heavy spear. Grinning, the mountain giant started attacking Magina again, this time with short, accurate lunges.

Soon, Magina was tiring from the repeated blows he had to avoid and parry. His movements were beginning to slow and his reflexes were getting duller. His attacks were also weaker and weaker. Until now, none of his or the giant's weapons had touched their opponents.

Magina had to do something fast before he was impaled by the huge spear. He tried blinking behind the huge giant again-
and was kicked with full force in the face.

He soared through the air and crashed into the wall of the arena. "AARGHH!" Magina groaned in pain. Panting, he tried to get up but only succeeded to stand for a second before slumping back down. In this vulnerable state, he was an easy target for the mountain giant.

Advancing on his wounded adversary, the mountain giant was confident the battle would be over soon. Lifting up its spear, the mountain giant drew back its hand and launched the spear at Magina. It would not be needing the spear anymore..it was over..

Magina saw the spear flying at him with deadly accuracy. If he didn't do anything soon, he would never see the light of day again. Summoning his remaining energy, Magina blinked.

He appeared beside the astonished giant and slashed the giant with a scissor like move.

Before the giant could even roar in pain, Magina had blinked, now, he was behind the giant. He slashed again.

Blinking several times and slashing hard, he continued cutting through the giant from different angles. He ignored the pain that was shooting through his entire body as he continued his chain of moves on the giant.

*Wham*

Magina was about to deal a deadly slash at the giant's head when he was caught off guard, the spear smashed into Magina's side with an earsplitting crack.

Magina could only cough and splutter out blood. He was bleeding internally and many of his bones were broken.

The giant was also close to death. Blood was pouring out from the gashes that ran across its entire body. The giant could hardly stand from the pain of the wounds and the loss of blood.

Magina could hear the groans of the giant as it tried to steady itself. He knew both their ends were near..

Muttering a soft incantation, Magina drained all his mana left in his mana pool into his hands. Invoking his ultimate spell, Magina knew that it would instantly cause the giant to implode.

Through its blood soaked eyes, the giant managed to see Magina casting his spell. Lumbering blindly away, it tried to get as far away from Magina as it could. Even giants knew when to run.

Magina finished the final verse of his incantation. Raising his head in pain, he could see the blurry image of the giant. He could see that his target had not even a drop of energy left.

He flung the ball of energy in his palm weakly at the giant. Fortunately, the energy was light and soared straight at the giant. Spiraling through the air, the bolt of energy hit the giant squarely in the back.

The giant's scream of terror never left it. There was a blinding flash of light and there was nothing left of the giant but small charred pieces of flesh and bone.

Magina sighed and closed his eyes. He coughed again and more blood spurted out from his mouth. His lungs and innards were probably crushed and ruptured.

Suddenly, he felt a warm sensation spread through him. A soothing wave of warmth and power. Was this how it was like to die? Was he in heaven?

No, he could still smell the blood around him.

What?

Magina opened his eyes and got up. His wounds were healed, though not completely. He still felt a stabbing pain in his abdomen.

How did this miracle happen? He saw the stranger standing in front of him, a golden light emmnating from the tips of his outstretched fingers.

"Wh-who are y-you," Magina stammered. His body was still in shock after getting wounded and healed almost instantly.

The stranger smiled. Unstrapping a huge hammer from his back, he raised it to the heavens. A pillar of light hit the stranger and lit up the whole arena with a golden light. The trees nearby rustled and a powerful gust of wind swept through the area. As the light started to dim, Magina could see the stranger .

The stranger had totally changed. His entire form was now glowing brightly was a golden energy and his armour was shining with renewed power. His eyes were also bright and was glowing with energy.

Holy inscriptions engraved into the stone head of his warhammer were also emitting a golden hue. Magina thought he could hear some soft voices whispering as the light faded away.

"I am Purist Thunderwrath! The Omniknight!" his voice boomed throughout the area, magically amplified.

Magina could see the amount of energy in the Omniknight and knew at once, this was no ordinary man. The only other person that Magina had seen possesing this kind of power was Furion, Magina's father.

"Welcome to the Sentinels," the Omniknight continued, extending his hand.

Magina smiled. He shook it and followed Purist back to the Sentinel base.

This was the start of a new beginning for Magina.

Sentinel camp, The World Tree

"Furion, this is outrageous!! You just sent the most rogue and unpredictable battalion to aid Fort Natharion."

"This is pure madness..it will be a massacre!"

"We must send backup immediately or risk losing the fort!"

"That Rogue Knight and his battalion are all too unpredictable and follow their feelings.."

"ENOUGH!!" Furion slammed his fist on the table.

All the representatives of the different races who called themselves The Council settled down and stared at Furion expectantly.

They were all in a huge, brightly lit chamber at the base of the World Tree. The chamber had been built during the first Scourge invasion and many of the decisions that determined the fate of the Sentinel, the fate of the world were discussed and made here.

The Council had assembled here today to discuss the fate of Natharion but had soon turned into a wild argument.

"Enough...I shall send backup to the fort as soon as possible," Furion continued.

"But we must also mantain our strong defences on the other forts as this could merely be a diversion," Rikimaru, the representative of the satyrs said in a husky voice.

"Hrrmmpph...the only force that we can spare at the moment ARE some soldiers from the neighbouring forts. " Rigwarl, the champion of the Bristlebacks snorted.

"There actually are some that we can spare..."Furion furrowed his brow while stroking his beard, thinking.

Getting to his feet, Furion announced, "This meeting is concluded for now, rest assured that I will send reinforcements to For Natharion. We will meet here again tomorrow at first light."

Back in his chambers, Furion took out his orb again.

Summoning some energy, he connected his mind to two individuals.

"Jakiro, Rooftrellen, I want you to head to Fort Natharion immediately to aid them. Their fort will be under siege soon and The Council has ordered you to provide backup.

"Yesss," Jakiro answered.

"Very well..."Rooftrellen, the Treant Protector answered.

Furion gazed at the orb after breaking the connection. He hoped that they would be enough to destroy the Scourge army. As he continued to gaze, he remembered is sons..Magina and Terrorblade. What had become of them? Had Magina succeeded in killing Terrorblade or was it the other way around...he would have to wait and see...

A tear trickled down his cheek as the old druid remembered the times they had together before the invasion.

"We will bring peace back to the land once more..I promise," Furion whispered.

All that Archimonde, and bad pugna and divine rapier and juggy challenging everyone with a divine rapier is not what happens in a normal school dven in a dota school. I say we go back to kael trying to win rylai over, tiny trying to grow up, puck trying to fit in and that stuff. What say u guys.

the war is fine but it shouldn't be dragged out in any way. The war should be like a time period where everyone gets closer to each other. After the all the crazy duels, school would be re-opened and everything almost back to normal.

EDIT: this is getting off-topic lol. We should talk about this in the actual Dota School Rumble forum. Now back to the story, this is amazing Glad to have great writers AND readers at DS

Hehe it's okay I don't mind you guys er..going out of topic =p

@Nightlord: Yea..he already rescued Bradwarden, he flew off after giving leviathan third degree burns . And war is always like that, we can't really plan things so well =p ...Any reinforcements that Furion could get his hands on he sent to Fort Natharion that needed it badly.
