which hero is best for newbies ?

hey guys I'm new to dota and I'm just playing it for about a week and I have trouble choosing my right hero ... since the first time I played my friend told me to use Tinker and now I'm more capable of playing long ranged heroes. Can u suggest any easy long ranged heroes that can kill enemy hero ? Btw prefer int than agi coz I know only some int stuffs since I played only int heroes from the beginning. Please need ur recommendation ... thx
Cool

Easy Int heroes?
Lion is a good choice. Powerful, with two disables and an Ulti that hurts at level 1.

You can try Akasha, but she's more for a bit experiences players, but you can still try her out. Krobelus is good too.

IMO, INT type heroes shouldn't be your beginner hero. It's usually ranged AGI types, like Kardel, Bone Clinkz, Jah'rakal, Traxex, Razor, even Venomancer. This is because they're heroes that don't rely on activate skills too much, and they have passive skills too. You can easily give these heroes the same build, i.e. Sange and Yasha, Power Treads, and Butterfly.

I agree at Garfield that INT types shouldn't be your beginner hero. If you're worried about the skills, you'll have no problem with AGI type since most of their skills are simple nukes, toggled orb effect buff placers [orbs that go with your attack], some passive skills, etc.

I suggest you use Traxex or Bone Clinkz if you are interested in AGI heroes. Easy point-and-click heroes who are great hero-killers.

Many str heroes are also easy, such as Skeleton king and Sven.

@azkeroth
Well, if you want to use int hero for beginner, I think ... ... ... ...
I don't know... I'm not intel hero player.
but You can try Death Prophet for starting, since you don't have to control you ghoshes, have good nuke, can silence, and her ghoshes can be used for healing too.
But still IMHO I suggest [just like others] for you to use agile range hero for starting.
Specially Kardel.
But tinker is not that bad too.

Well, in the end, all hero is good, so just choose which one do you like and master him/her.

@Heaven(HH)
I think both of them not that easy for noobs,
I'd rather suggest Balanar for noobs
since he's my first hero with good result,
and when I suggest him to my friend that noobs too, he has great improvement on his too.

@yukino
I don't think that clinkz is easy for noobs.

@Lonewolf
I don't think agl melee hero is good for noobs, since they starting hp is low and they are MELEE.

@Lonewolf
*agrees w/joxie*

How about Nightshade, Medusa, Vengeful Spirit, and Lone Druid (w/o bear?). Morphling is also good choice if used properly.

@ Joxie
He's easy to use, but the thing is, most of your teammates will rely on you for ambushes, etc. That's where complexity kicks in. Just tell your mates first that it's your first time to use Clinkz.

i'd go with silent assasin or lightning revenant. constant invis means it'l be hard to get ganked, so you can get your bearings while you learn. lightning revenant is a very basic hero as well and doesn't rely on spell combos as much to kill a hero. basically any combo of items can work well on him too
