Well I know i started with viper. He's noob friendly and easy to use too. Razor's not a bad choice either.

generally...get a ranged hero since u play for da past 2 weeks.i suggest u try dwarven sniper...^^
and if u hav time,check da strats of ur hero in DS!

easiest noob friendly hero is kardel. get to level 6 and follow your most powerful ally and prepare your kill-steal button

lol, that's a horrible question to ask. Best hero killer there is? Very honestly, I'd go for anti mage. Why? Because he has the best orb ability there is. Not forgetting his mana shield and excellent aspd. Anyway, it's all about how you play the heroes. There's no "best" hero in DotA. But there is the worst. I'm all for Zeus or meepo hands down lol.

Oh yea. Here's a list of beginner friendly characters:

Travex, the drow hunter,
Kardel sharpeye, the sniper,
Lina Inverse, the slayer,
Lion, the kser(I forgot his title)
Lastly, krobelus, the death prophet.

Ignore what people say about viper being extremely easy to use. That's not true. But yea, he can come after the list I just listed down

I actually got better using puck...wouldnt he be easy cuza phase shift? and his orb for escapes?

I find Skeleton King to be easiest hero to use but seeing how this is asking for the best killer, I find Sniper to be the easiest. Zeus can KS (kill steal) easily but he might be hard for a beginner due to his crummy range. Riki is a safe choice too until the other team gets wards/gem.

if you want a herro that you can always do better with,
And will cause lot of damage,
i suggest Voljin, The Witch docter,
Getting that Maladic perfect is everything.

I agree....just played a game yesterday n ks'ed my way to victory....hehehe...just dont do it too much or your allies will get mad at you

Hell no, getting Viper to its full potential is hard for a newbie, especially the best aspect he has, which is orb chasing... If you don't know how to orb walk properly, they'll simply get away, also the ultimate requires calculation, otherwise it's wasted...
Easiest hero to kill for newbies is without a doubt Drow... Just autocast your arrows until you learn how to orb walk... her slow is more than what quite a few of the heroes can handle, and with her new "buffed" ultimate, it gets easier still... Just be mindful of disables...

Earthshaker, Buy 2 sobi's and a belt of giant and 4 tangos and you can stay in the lane up to lvl. 11. Just spam the fissure and be sure you have aftershock in early game so the fissure will have better stun and damage. For me, i get a kill when i reach lvl. 3 with that build.
