Manta sucks on spectre.

I prefer get SnY now, but diffusal and manta isn't a bad choice.

Manta was good for old spectre because of dispersion, not obly desolate. With the new spectre S&Y is a whole lot better.

as a hero chaser having manta works very well considering sd works on the images. think u running away with low life as three spectre dodge any obstacle that comes through its path. in addition manta and radiance with haunt..7 mercurials during an opposing team push thats 245 damage without u attacking alone. playing with spectre got boring considering its too easy

and with the new dispersion is it really ALL damage almost like a blades mail right? just wondering

anyhow if icefrog is gonna change this much he might as well create All new heroes lol

Yes but it don't stack =p Imagine one illusion in each lane =p Just joking, they won't last long enough to do much. @sandking: *Frowns* Stop acting immature. You will only end up getting warned or banned. It's not good to say bad things to people. For all you know, Coco might have a good point. What would you do if suddenly SnY or Skadi becomes part of the core item build for Spectre and not Manta anymore? Forums are for discussing your opinions and ideas. Not condemn other's views.

try this build
radiane, manta, HoT,linkens/EoS(they dont stack,who ares?stats are stats) vlads.my friend uses this build and says it works with wonders though he usually end up with radiance+manta.i used to get butter but due to the dispersion change, i dont know if its any good. or if you really dont want manta, build her like the old visage

well i'm really torn with manta on spectre, i ussually prefer rushing radiance since it gives you more farming advantages than chasing around and hoping for a kill that might or might not happen depending on unknown circumtances when going for a kill and then i'd go for stygian and butterfly.

manta vs other items still depends on the players preference if you can play better with manta then go for it lets just be civil and mature enough to respect others opinion.

Ok why get manta on Spectre?
Spectre is about chasing!
manta does give images desolate that deals great damage, but what does that help you in a chase?
S&Y vanguard and radiance is best for spectre.

desolate works if the opponent heroes are alone and it lowered their armor...and it might get lowered EVEN MORE if u got AC..plus 2 image with manta...nearly hard to kill..lol
