Hmm I wonder why CFX gets flamed so often. Is it wrong to be frank with people and speak your mind out?

Anyway, @blister: I think you are confused with the Desolate skill of spectre and the item Stygian Desolator. Desolate allows you to deal extra damage while Stygian Desolator minuses armor.

manta is good on spectre but think of this it Really depends upon the situation and what item suits you best when using spectre

Manta's good lol... u can activate it in the forest, dagger the enemy, haunt as u approach him and surround him with 4 illusions... But the stupid thing of manta... If ur enemy attacked u, and u do manta to somehow escape, his hero won't get confused, he will go and run after the right one, not the illusions

In four whole pages nobody has pointed out these things:
1. Spectre's Illusions have zero collision size on Shadow Path, and increased movespeed, just like the real Spectre. Therefore it is easier to chase this way.
2. You don't want Manta: you want Diffusal Blade for super slowing Spectre! The convenience of upgrading to Manta (after you're done with the Purges of course) is merely an accessory.

i'll agree on shimrra on that one difusal is really good with spectre totally lets you rape heroes that are trying to run away...
manta will give you images and coupled with your ulti will really give confusion in clashes i see that point its difinitely better than having s&y when it comes to clashes...

i really don't know if the orb effect of stygian activates with images but i have tried manta+radiance build and stygian+radiance build and find it easier to flatten the other teams rank with stygian+radiance... i think this is because in clashes spectre's desolate doesn't kick in and stygian counters this problem...

still, guys we don't need to be immature and start flaming. posts are for pointing each others opinion and if you can't put what you mean in civil manner then don't post at all... read the rules so you won't need to be warned...

IGNORANCE OF THE LAW DOESN'T EXEMPT ANYONE FROM IT...

yup...thanx for make it clear 4 me...kinda forgot bout spectre's desolate skill actually since it's RARE 4 me 2 get her while playing with my friends..4 vs 4...-arts mod...luv da new terrain..icy..lol..^^
after all,manta still my choice 4 spectre..45 bonus dmge x 3 = 135 bnus dmge..

p/s:correct me if im wrong since in still a newbie in DS..

Remember him saying motred should farm up for buriza in early games.

BTW coco, why do you have to make illusions when you are chasing? Activate before you start an attack obviously. Also, why must the hero run all the time? What if he tried to fight?
SPectre, being melee, can make illusions phased which make up for the main disadvantage of heroes like chaos knight and naga. Illusions dont have to spend time crowding around an enemy.
