How to counter ABADDON the Lord of Avernus..

Hey guys!..

I need help..

I need a counter for Lord of Avernus..

I know a common counter for him (axe)..but when we played 1v1, he killed me twice before I got to level 10..His aphotic shield early game is IMBA..On his 2nd kill to me, we both died at the same time, culling blade and normal attack..
I know axe is a great counter for him,basically because his culling blade goes through anything..

i kinda need a short yet thorough guide or strategy,


AND ALSO, PLEASE POST WHO ARE THE OTHER COUNTER'S FOR LORD OF AVERNUS, and what items..

Antimage and anyone with a Diffusal Blade is nasty for him, Meepo would probably kick his butt.

Another useful counter is Barathrum,, the trick being to not rush into using your ult on him too soon. The simple approach is, charge and whack until his borrowed time activates and simply chase him (Abbadon cannot out run u) and as soon as it wears off, use you ult, and you should hear a distinct pooping noise.

Bloodseeker can also kill him, but this is generally only the case in team battles and not 1 v 1's.

Permabashers will also do they trick, seeing as they can simply keep him in place while his borrowed time activates

then ulti and own him, bashers will also help alot

TBH, i think any hero that can chase him down would be good, I would prolly go, Dirge or Someone,

Driges Aura lowers hp,
When he abphotic sheilds, Cast your Little Minions on him, You will get the Hp back,
Slow with ulti,
And Churr Cuz.

i suggest either meepo or naga. both deal mass dmg and have nets. meepo = lots's'nets, nage just get ur manta for mana burn

lanaya, id go for skadi but farming for it may be a pain. if he throws on a sheild just refract, use your traps to slow him if he runs, (deso would be helpful as well)

axe his ulti works against abbadon ulti
the passive borrow strike (not active) is just a sigh for calling the ulti of axe.
