Favorite item and why

Whats your favorite item and why? mine is dagon. Its fun to go around zapping everything. It can be imba when upgraded too.

I think dagon upgrades are a real waste of money. Dagon 5 can cost more than a rapier for goodness sake. But at level 1, it is more than enough to add to the firepower of some nuker combos.

I used to dislike S&Y because of its pricey build but now since the buff I think I will give it a chance.

I also personally love S&Y. Also Assault Cuirras was a nice item to the game.

this topic depends on what hero you have. however, i think best start item is RoB, it is dirt cheap and gives much needed mana regen. early not to mention +3 armor... worth every penny. mid game goes to linken's for survivability and regen.(hp and mana) and now that it is 18 sec. CD IMBA!!! late game is any of the teir 4 items depending on the type of hero satanic, butterfly, secpter. but radience can help almost all heros except support, you always make your money back because of extremely easy farming. Just my opinion! good topic by the way

since my favorite heroes are agi type I'll go for wraith bands. cheap and more or less it's enough to kill early/mid game.

It depends on what kind of hero I have...

str heroes: HoT (duh!!!)
int heroes: Guinsoo or Aghanim's (Rotund'jere with Aghanim kills every one with half health lolz)
agi heroes: varies... butterfly and buriza are pretty good. On Mortred, Battle Fury is a must (she can handle multiple waves of creeps with coupdegrace and this item w/out using any abilities)

Ironwood Branch is a good item. For 3 of them (171 gold), you get +3 for ALL stats. what a bargain. You later sell'em off or use it for mekansm

It really depends on what hero I'm using...
But generally, it's Lothar's Edge... I love it when you come out of nowhere to an unsuspecting victim and zap him with everything you've got (think, Venomancer, Luna, Nevermore)

i love desolator but i rarely use it. unless on melee hero, i sometimes use it with vlad.
