Catholic = Under Christianity. Formally "Roman Catholic". Pretty much the same, except for the way of worshiping God.

Oh... and another thing... you will see a difference between christians and chatolics (which are romano-catholoc and greco-catholic) in the terms of how they build their churces. Catholics use the Gothic stile (very tall and slender buildings) while the christians use the Romanic stile... not so tall but Masive. If you tell me how to insert pictures I will show you a christian monastery. Also the catholics, unlike the christians believe in a purgatory. That is a space between haven and hell where you get the chance to wash your sins away through pain (purgatory like in purge, to purge yourself of the sins). Christians don't have that. You are either good or bad and that's that. Hope it helps and please tell me how to insert pics

actually i ask some one (he study theology back then but he become a religion teacher...)(course for being a priest)

he said that all catholic are christian but not all christian are catholic?

and he said purgatory are for those soul who are in "between"(that means if you pray for they're soul they may end up in heaven...)

The christians are of 2 kinds: Christian Orthodox (Like me and for example the russians are mostly orthodox) And Christian Catholic (Greco Catholic or romano Catholic) Christian refers to the thing that you worship Christ. Both Catholics and Orthodox worship Christ, in their own way. So the distinction is not as we have used it until now Christian and Catholic but rather Greco-catholic, Romano-Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Adventist, Baptist, Muslim, Jewish, Confucianist, Taoist, Budhist, Atheist, and so on and so forth
