I was wondering what the whole lifesteal-from-bounces thing was... anyway, Satanic is worth it even on Agi heroes - just not instantly. HotD -> Butterfly -> Situational Item -> Satanic or something.

Helm of Dominator to Satanic as mentioned above is recommended for a few heroes such as Naix, Luna. In my opinion on some heroes it's just better to go Mask of Madness like Sven, Dragon Knight etc.

Balanar is also a good hero to go Satanic with.
I've also heard about Huskar with it but I strongly disagree.

I read in the allstars website that lifesteal from the bounces no longer works, only from the first hit. Whenever I took satanic for my luna I never really checked =p. Can anyone who has tried it clarify?

when i play luna i always upgrade to satanic after i get butterfly. The reason to this is so that i can survive clashes.

Of course, you do get at least the mask of death before butterfly right? It is never good to jump straight away to late game items without items to survive in early and mid.
And evasion is no use against nukes which is the most common attack smart opponents would throw at her. Of course, the damage and IAS are amazing though.

Yea, when playing huskar I usually abuse the power of Burning spears first before the DPS starts to become insignificant later game.

Well i would say its worth it, not so much the dmg, just unholy rage! You lose 20 dmg when u upgrade to satanic but butterfly sorts that out.
and thats why peeps always talk about luna with satanic AND butterfly.
I love satanic, esp on Magnus! Havent tried it on Naix

BS does not lose effectiveness. like ~fwii said, rejecting BS is just like rejecting relic. i felt pity for people who do something like get a satanic for drow and viper. though BS doesnt have any slow, its not much different from those

Whether to get satanic on huskar or to get BS is situational actually. Once the opponents really start packing mega firepower(saay..a mortred with two BF and other items), it would be rather hard to live, even with Inner Vitality and a HoT. That is when I get Satanic. I did agree with you guys oppinions in that thread =p

satanic is not bad for luna because you can use satanic and manta style simultaneously just put the satanic in the numpad 7 and manta to numpad 4. just correct me if i'm wrong there's no problem about that

Is it still worth when compared to heart and butterfly?
However, i have to agree that Satanic is useful after you get other damage items.
I still prefer heart + helm of dominator for some heroes. Heart gives almost 1000k while satanic gives half. 11 regen is a lot too.
BTW, it doesnt make sense to argue that satanic is worth because butterfly makes up for the 20 dmage rite? You are spending more gold to make up for the weakness of the upgrade.

satanic isnt good for magnus, mom+battlefury+armlet is better Disappointed

instead of upgrading reaver to satanic, why not leave the helm as it is and make into a heart or simply buy a vanguard and more damage items like armlet.
