Catalin Battleword the Bard

In his childhood he was a troubadour but as he grew, he was taught the fine art of elven warfare by his grandfather. Allthough, he never forgot his childhood pasion: singing and he dazzeled the hear of all he encountered with his songs. It is said that even the most ferocious dragon is hipnotised by his powerfull songs and becomes as quiet as a lamb. Now as prince of the avariel kingdom he stands united with the elven races to help the sentinel in defeating the tides of evil by lending his songs to boost the spirits of his comrades. When they see him on the battlefield his enemies disregard him because of his aparent frailty. But he has laid death to many of his unsuspecting victims in just moments with his deadly acuratly blows honed throughout the years. Now even the Lich King fears his name.

1st lvl lasts 2 secs, 2 bonus armor, 10% cleave, 5%dmg

Insight (pasive)
By honing his knowledge of combat skills through many years with his Grandpa, the king's guard's trainer, Catalin has mastered the art of combat being able to predict the oponent's move there fore giving him a chance to land a critical strike and avoid incoming hits. In this time he Has studied elven lore becoming wiser and wiser in the process. Now he can amaze even the elders with his lore
lvl 1 5% crit /15% evasion 1,25 crit adds 2 inteligence
lvl 2 10% crit /20% evasion 1,5 crit adds 4 inteligence
lvl 3 15% crit /25% evasion 1,75 crit adds 6 inteligence
lvl 4 20% crit /30% evasion 2 crit adds 8 inteligence
Ultimate (requieres lvl 6)
Tranquility (Active) (Chanelling)
Catalin focuses all his energy into a powerfull song of peace which heals all allied units and stuns all enemy units. The song drains his powers
Note: does not affect invisible units which can not be seen (Rikimaru strategy... smokescreen=bye bye ulti and Catalin gets the stun)
lvl 1 heal 200 HP stun for 2 seconds 300 sec cooldown 300 mana
lvl 2 heal 300 HP stun for 3 seconds 240 sec cooldown 500 mana
lvl 3 Heal 400 HP stun fur 4 seconds 180 sec cooldown 700 mana
lvl 4 (with Aghanim) heal 500 stun for 5 seconds. Also if aghanim is built it reduces cooldown by 30 seconds at all levels.
After chanelling Catalin is stuned for 1 second... so use wisely
If an oponent enters the spell area while chanelling (if not invisible eg Rikimaru or using invisibility), he falls under the efect of the stun for the duration of the remaining chanelling. Can be interrupted by ability or magical atacks from a grater range. Eg: Assasinate, Thundergod's wrath, The ulti from Furion, Silence or Boush's missles or march of the machines. Also Squee and spelen's bombs
AOE of 1600 (800 radius around)
If it needs nerfing please tell me. I am awaiting your opinions. And please tell me how to introduce icons. I really don't know how. Thanks a bundle guys
COMPLETELY CHANGED 2ND SKILL
Replaced Keen senses with taunt (how do you like it)
Also nerfed stats gain/lvl
minor modification at the int bonus on insight (from 3/6/9/12 to 2/4/6/

lvl3 ulti nerf by a second and make katalin's stun 1 second instead of 1.5, and mayb buff 2nd skill

Ok...1st skill, at lvl 4, +80% to damage....that's kinda on the supernatural side...doing almost double damage for 20 seconds...maybe this should be the Ultimate...
2nd skill looks fine to me, that's something new...
3rd skill eh...chances of critical are probably a little too high...25% chance of critical and evasion means in 1 to 4 hits, which is frequent...
4th skill...to be honest...mana cost is too much...Chen's hand of God heals for closely the same health for only 200 Mana...the stun effect is nice though...maybe between 500-600 will be nice...
A full support character that requires Mana over everything else...this is pretty unique...modify the character a little and balance it...with that ultimate skill, this Bard can be even worse than Zeus...

What I wanted to do here is create both a suport hero and a warrior hero on it's own. Remember from Dungeons and Dragons (cause that's where I got my idea from) the bard is the one who lifts the spirits and/or distracts the enemy (aka stun) with his songs while also being a master of combat (not as specialised as the warior though). And his versatility is in his speed. So I tried to make the ulti almost just for the stun... imagine him in the middle of the battle with his Ulti, and Aghanim... ahem.... 8 second stun in a huge radius??? Even worse than Cronosphere not to mention YOUR FORCES WILL ATACK. That's why I put a mana cost so big and the cooldown, because the ulti is kinda.... well almost imba. But that's why I let a way out, to be able to counter it (read there the over map spells or assasinate- and of course silence) So that's why I added stun after... It's just a little to good to be true. Imagine that if he catches all his oponents in an 800 radius (and few have an atack range other than this, it is IMPOSIBLE for them to counter the spell... they will not be able to use their avatars because they will be stuned. And for a combo Mega stun (worse than Darkterror's) and heal (like Chen) ... uhhhhhhh believe me man, manacost cooldown and that downfall ARE NEEDED.
Also I would like to comment about the Critical and evasion. Other heroes have it as well, and remember. This hero IS NOT ONLY A SUPORT HERO. It is a BATTLE TYPE SUPORT HERO. This is how it is concieved... to be VERSATILE. Yurnero for example has almost 50% chance to crit, not to mention the God Forsaken Naga Siren... woah!!!! That is crit crit crit... it's only red out there on the map. And believe me, evasion of 25% is standard (just look at all the other heroes). And also the Crit, 25% is not so much comparing it with other heroes who have a biger chance. Even with his 2nd skill he will have 25% + 20%*25% that is exactly 30% chance to Crit. I think it is low comparative to others, but I took this into consideration when I thought about the Agi gain and the base Atak speed, I made him atack a little bit faster than normal and gain slightly more agility to compensate for this downfall
And also the first skill. Remember this... Magnataur... Yeah you heard me. Do you remember how he spams overpoewr? Well this is just the oposite of that... if the scourge can, the sentinel can also. And now they have the hero for it. And what About Shandelzare's damage aura??? Preety high for a passive. And also the mana cost for the first skill is also reasonable for the effects. If you want I can give it a larger cooldown say 30 seconds?
And ok, I nerfed the stun on Catalin for the ulti from 1,5 to 1 secs

Note for all you guys. just take a look, I changed the name of the 2nd skill and added a new story. it now gives extra inteligence (3 per level aka LORE) So this should even the mana problem. As you sugested, this guy... REALLY NEEDS MANA... and that's how I developed it. His skills are VERY POWERFULL and we don't want him to spam them!!! And I also icreased the cooldown for the first skill from 25 seconds to 30... like I said WE DON'T WANT TO SPAM...

holy shit.
hes like a warlock/bountyhunter/prophet the ulti would get nerfed, and the evasion wouldnt stack(maybe if u get btrfly before ability??? works for pudge's aegis. the str and int gain perlvl would go down to 1.6 probubly maybe 1.7 you've got to give it more time for your little homies to tear stuff up cause thats a lot of begining game mana to be casting for an agi hero for only 5-15 sec?!?! that ulti would own. it would be sick if it stuned everyone, regend 400 to ALL then took 800 from enemys!

Ok nerfed it BIG TIME.
First skill now only adds 60% dmg (not 80) and costs 275 mana at lvl4 (ouch)
2nd skill... a better explanation of how the percentages are calculated
3rd skill same... do you think I should use 1,25 1,5 1,75 2 for Crit (to make him not so eficient at first...) is it good the way it is now, or should I let crit with X2 all the way?
Ulti Nerfed big-time. It now only stuns for 4 seconds (5 with aganim). Also, do you think should Ireplace the heal with a slow efect? I am awaiting your posts And 10x for your sugestions

R U kiddin' me? This guy has 1 word and 1 word only written all over it!!! Versatility. Just imagine this guy on an 1v1 match with all his skills maxed out and an aghanim and buttrefly. So we have like 60% + 25%*60% that is a total of 75% dmg increase (woahhhhhhh) and ... if that wasn't enough a 25% + 25%*25% critical for 2,25 (not 2) that is 31,25% chance to crit (i.e. One time in 3 strikes)... which is preety high. So imagine doing 2,25* 1,75* your base damage... that is 3,93* your damage (so if you had a base damage of 100 and a buttrefly... well probably a critical of 500 would be very frequent ).... ahaaaaaa, what do you say now Mortred????. And....... yeah... 5 second stun with this nuker.... OMFG!!!!! not to mention he can heal himself when times are desperate. Yeah, it takes a lot of mana at the cost of agility... but hey, it's quite the hero and it had to have weak spots. Like you can have 2 strats with this guy (almost like Luna) the first strat is suporter-disabler (Aganim, guinsoo, refresher) - a magic type bard. And the other one is the battle-type bard with the highest evasion in the game (31,25%) and artefacts like buttrefly , burizza, satanic or skady (depends what you want) Monkey King Bar... more damage but at the cost of life (allthough satanic may make up for that)
Anyway. do you think it needs more nerfing? A friend of mine told me that the 2nd skill (that increases percentages) is useless now. What do you think? An extra 1/4 to all ms increase damage increase (that is 15%) Critical strike (from 25% to 31,25%) and evasion (same from 25% to 31,25%) ... do you think it is worth it or should I increase the bonus a little bit more???

Shit I forgot... in an 1v1 match he can not atack while his ulti is on... it's chanelling. Sorry... so guys, in 1v1 matches forget about the ulti (ok maybe just for the heal but 1 sec stun and just 400 Hp Healed for 700 mana... hmmmm, I don't think it is a good choice. So... go battle type. Ths guy is deadly even without his ulti_________________
