Vairan-The Bloodhound

Vairan is a bloodhound.He is a silent killer that never lets his prey to escape.However,his skills and his killing insticts make him,like many of his kind,rejected by the world society.Although this rejection,when there is no hope left,he is summoned to solve the problem for a painful price.Sentinel offered him a tremendous amount of gold to aid them,which he accepted,and now he doesn't let anyone he engages to escape...

Vairan - The Bloodhound
Range: 550 | Move Speed: 310
Primary: AGI
Str: 18 + 1.7 | Agi: 25 + 3.2 | Int: 16 + 1.5
Damage: 52 - 54 | HP: 492 | Mana: 208
HP Regen: 0.79 | Mana Regen: 0.65
Attack Speed: 1.23 | Armor: 4

Bleeding Prey (R)
Vairan heavily wounds his target making him to bleed and leave a bloody trail behind them.
Level 1 - The bloody trail lasts for 4 seconds.Is able to see the blur of his opponent at the end of the trail and has 80% chance to miss.If it is casted while wielding a dagger,the opponent is slowed for 5 seconds by 10%. Deals 60 damage.
Level 2 - The bloody trail lasts for 8 seconds.Is able to see the blur of his opponent at the end of the trail and has 60% chance to miss.If it is casted while wielding a dagger,the opponent is slowed for 5 seconds by 20%. Deals 120 damage.
Level 3 - The bloody trail lasts for 12 seconds.Is able to see the blur of his opponent at the end of the trail and has 40% chance to miss.If it is casted while wielding a dagger,the opponent is slowed for 5 seconds by 30%.Deals 180 damage.
Level 4 - The bloody trail lasts for 16 seconds.Is able to see the blur of his opponent at the end of the trail and has 20% chance to miss.If it is casted while wielding a dagger,the opponent is slowed for 5 seconds by 40%.Deals 240 damage.
If it is casted while the target is marked,you gain true sight of him.
Mana Cost: 160
Cooldown: 25
Framework: Shots a normal arrow that makes the target bleed like Bloodseeker's ulty.Then the target leaves a red trail behind him.If casted with a dagger,he swiftly stabs his opponent and slows him.
Notes: Chasing skill.

Adaptive Eyes (T)
Vairan's eyes are able to find weak spots on the enemy easily than anythung can do.As long as he keeps attacking the same target,he is able to increase his ctitical chance,however if he changes target,the buff instantly fades.
Level 1 - 2% critical chance increase per hit.
Level 2 - 5% critical chance increase per hit.
Level 3 - 7% critical chance increase per hit.
Level 4 - 10% critical chance increase per hit.
Deals 1.8x critical.Max 100%.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: N/A
Framework: N/A
Notes: Rexxar's 3rd skill with a small change.

Hide and Seek (E)
Vaizan marks a target for a short period of time and gains sight(not true sight) of him.He is able to be invisible as long as long as he is near his opponent in 800 AoE.
Level 1 - 10 seconds.3 secs fade time.
Level 2 - 20 seconds.2.5 secs fade time.
Level 3 - 30 seconds.2 secs fade time.
Level 4 - 40 seconds.1.5 secs fade time.
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 50/45/40/35
Framework: The target has a mark above his head like ursa's 3rd skill.
Notes: Chasing and escaping skill.

Swap Weapons (W)
Vairan,except for being adept with his bow,he has the capability of engaging opponents with his dagger alone for swift kills.
Level 1 - Becomes melee and increases his movement speed by 15% and his armor by 2.
Level 2 - Becomes melee and increases his movement speed by 22% and his armor by 4.
Level 3 - Becomes melee and increases his movement speed by 29% and his armor by 6.
Mana Cost: N/A
Cooldown: 2
Framework: Swaps his bow for a dagger and vice-versa.
Notes: Same as before.




Guys.....i didnt post this on Bardman's Chalenge because it is a dead chalenge!(soz Bard Man)I just did not feel like posting it there.I hope you all understand and i hope you like my idea!

The critical strike thingummmie is too powerful, so nerf it a little.
Oh, and by the way, it's spelt 'melee' Smile

1st skill IMBA!!!!!! he's an agi type so having fast attack speed is a must for agi heroes make it 1.2-1.5

Adaptive Eyes.
sorta like a skill i churned out a while back ^_^ it works and is very nice to have a passive 1.5x damage on a single target (should they still be living)
i think that it needs a small buff.
maybe 1.8x damage or something.
juggs has a 1/3 chance to do 2x damage you need to hit 3 times before you do that, juggs will have killed you by now.
anyway i would blow you away with some maths but i am on holidays and yeah -_-; you know i can do it.. so we shall just say i'm right and buff it.

Stepfinder
this leaves me feeling slightly ripped off.
^_^ find my alpha wolf and you will instantly know why.

Hide and Seek
reasonable skill while limited in use.

Swap Weapons
a nice play on troll's range swapping skill.
when combined with SnY this is a very deadly ability.

Bard Man's here. Let's see what you have.


Your first skill is inventive and quite interesting. Still, Bard Man thinks the damage needs a slight buff. 1.75 seems fair.

This is already in effect on one hero. Terrorblade. He leaves burning green footprints behind him. Anywho, this skill is flawed, not only because it could be used against you very easily, but also because it could cause alot of lag. Change it to a single target ability.

Hide & Seek is neat in that you get to be Rikimaru for about half a minute. Could be useful if you aren't dumb enough to use it on a really fast hero like Barathrum, Banehollow, or Balanar. (THE THREE B's!)

Your ult is Jak'rahal's second skill given a different name, but it is still good.

Bard Man gives you a 9/10 Needs a minor fix, but overall great hero.

Well as u said 2nd skill was taken from Terrorblades footprints..

i find it quite interesting and i believe that lag will not be occured...but anyway...i will figure out sth...

about the first skill: i will change it.

1st: LOVE the idea, the name matches its ability, the only thing is 1.8x crit is pretty high, maybe like 1.25x? also, how does this work with buriza/crystalis

2nd: errr, what happens if that unit doesnt leave footprints, ie viper and harbringer

3rd: very original and interesting

ulti: very like trolls axe swapping skill. not very orignal

overall: i like the idea but theres ALREADY a "tracker" hero (nobody EVER mentions hero theme) and that hero is bounty hunter. i mean the story is somewhat the same. helps out the side for money. nuff said

i like the 1st and 3nd skills thou, maybe they should implemented adaptive eyes for bh's passive and hide-and-seek for his windwalk =P, of course under diferent names, but it would fit better with his theme :P

2nd skill will be remade anyway:P

No 1.8x is better cause jugg has 36% for 2 and silthice 45% for 1.5x:P

ulty wasnt actually inspired by trol...although i know it is similar!!!

It was inspired By LotR the strategy where Legolas has a swap skill:P

mmm yes well keep the footprint thing as i stole it from twilight princess anyway =P awesome stuff that.

anyway yes as for heroes who don't leave footprints i believe the logic is from now on they leave footprints anyway. well terrorblade demon fire trails at any rate.
