Have at least some sort of carrying hero, and a tank will be nice for all teams.

synergies are what you need
2 heroes that will work on ganking and 2 which are carries. i advise that one of the carries is not a late gamer

Tanks and support are optional, requirements are:1 solo hunter/ganker, good disablers, AoE for clashes and pushing, and 1-2 lategamers.

Scourge:
Magnus(AoE push, AoE disable)
Nevermore(AoE push, AoE clash, lategame)
SandKing(AoE push/stun, AoE clash)
Akasha(Ganker, AoE push, AoE clash, disable with guinsoo)
Bone Clinkz(Late-game, ganker)

Sentinel:
Beastmaster(Disable, AoE push, possible late-game, scouting)
Jah'rakal(Late-game)
Rylai(Disable, AoE clash, ganker)
Enigma(AoE clash, AoE, disable, support)
Mirana(Disable, AoE push, support, late-game)

in my team we usually have the same range of hero's, usually rarely used too.


me:main support-dazzle/ezalor
player 2:-more support-dazzle/ezalor
player 3:-tanker/disabler-centaur/lion
player 4:-tanker/disabler-centaur/lion
player 5:-early game harras killer/ lina,luna,broodmother.

supporters:if these players are not there the team will fail, they are pushers, they destroy all creesp and move onto the next tower, by mid game usually high damage spammable atacks, such as heals or AoE's.

tanker/disabler:if these players fail the team will most probably fail, they are the hero killers, used to dominate any other hero's and slow down the supporters, usually high hp and equiped with HoT's or Vanguards.

Early game domination: these are the hero's that slow down the otehr players, they will later on become supporters when they have let the otehr players level faster, moving around the map harrasing and annoying all other chars, i usually tell tom to pick brood becasue brood can succesfullybe invisable throughout the map and not have to go heal too often.


these are the steps my team makes, but if the otehr team is ful of tankers, we will win early by far, mid it will beevemn, but overall we WILL lose.

Generally, you'll want at least one tank, one late game hero, and a minimum of two gankers... Be sure to also have powerful AoE for clashes, as otherwise you'd be pretty hopeless if they stick together....
Just make sure you don't get too many farmer heroes, and try to have more than half of your team in heroes that remain useful throughout the ENTIRE game...
Heroes like Jakiro, Akasha, Vol'jin, Magnus, etc...
Those guys (while each having their own shining stage), can be VERY useful to the team in every stage...
