Immortal's Blessing

Price: 2500 gold

Description:
Bestowed upon the children by the immortals it is a shield that grants a second life to the user.. at a cost.

Gives:
+10 armor
+20% spell resistance

passive: reincarnate
when you die you instantly reincarnate at your teams fountain. catch 101 is that your killer is granted the immortals blessing. (the item moves into your killers inventory)

Cannot be Dropped. (general rule)
CAN be dropped by Circle of Power IF the Circle of Powers owner has a spare inventory slot.
Cannot be Destroyed.


If you are killed by the sentinel/scourge/neutral creeps/Roshan, you reincarnate and the immortals blessing is merely dropped.
If you are killed by an ally/yourself, it is treated as a normal death (reincarnate does not take effect.)
If your killer does not have an inventory slot spare it is moved into their circle of power.

Aegis of the Immortal (0 gold)
Planeswalkers Cloak (650 gold)
Plate Mail (1400 gold)
Immortal's Blessing Recipe Scroll (450 gold)

Obviously I've taken some liberties with the names here. Umm ... as I said its just very twisted. Some sort of death-by-death Pass the Parcel. But if you do manage not to die, it gives bonuses more-or-less like the old Aegis of the Immortal.

Yay.. i get it.. when you die you will be revived instantly.. but immortal's blessing wiil be transfered to another teammate of yours.. right?

IMO this is wicked
99%+1% of dota heroes would need this, and then everyone is gonna be like WTF!!too bad we dont get like 20 rosh kills in any game

Its a half decent idea but your problem lies in the aegis count required which you've already highlighted above.

Too few aegis' required (i.e. zero or 1) = too many shields in game

Too many = shields become impossible to make

Also possible synergy conflict, having one hero carry an aegis and immortal's blessing, do they stack? which takes precedence for drop if so?

Ultimately though you'd have to ensure that there could only be 1 of these created in the game, which will not happen under the current game structure.
