Linken`s Sphere

Alight. so its pretty useful for tanks and the odd weak hero, and the stats help everyone. But is the spell block worth it? you could just wait for skadi or something.

oh oh and which heros need it most?

It's pretty good now since of its recent buff.

Actually, most heroes can benefit ALOT on this item.
But, most only consider it when their enemies rely on one skill to help their killing, but even if not, it's still a great item to have.

Though it isn't a priority on most heroes.
Still your choice though.

Its better than BkB because it negates the spell, meaning the Mana cost/Hp cost still takes place.
Actually, it is bad to counter Sniper, because Headshot can trigger linken.

lol? bkb is the ultimate spell protection. you cant save yourself from AoE with linkens

I think its worth getting it with its recent buff, it actually does something now lol.
Its not really about who needs it, its about who its needed against. As mentioned above, Laguna Blade etc. And against people like Bane. i know he can trigger it with one of his other spells, but just make a retreat, come back in, retreat and so on. The new Linkens is awesome, but i agree with cfx, BKB still owns by far.

For its new buff, it is worth buying. Especially if you're enemy has a targeted spell, and yeh, good stats for everyone. But then it only blocks targeted spells, so BkB is better.

Its your choice in getting it.

Well i have NEVER gotten linkens becuase i just dont think it is very good. but i guess it could be affective for Sand King because of his ult

What happens if you get hooked but u have linkens?
Hook is a targeted spell.

At topic
The only problem with BKB is you have to activate it and linkens can prevent you against unexpected spells. But overall BKB is better.

Buy Black King Bar, Linken's Sphere, Hood of Defiance, and choose Anti-Mage...rofl

ANYWAYS, Linken's Sphere is a nice item but it isn't necessary. Like everyone else already siad, depends on enemies.

offtopic: anyone see the effect for Sniper's assassinate and Huskar when low on health with Berserker's Blood? SWEET!
