Ooooh I remember the gambler... Maybe they should add a Fun Tavern with all the old school heroes like they do in more recent ai versions

first of all, crudload? And second, i guess you can pool the guy money if he is good enough to take on a really good hero. You can't expect a noob anyone to take on a supposedly pro player, so you have to be pretty good to take on any of these bountied heros

Nah, there'll be too many exploits with this - most of which have already been mentioned above.
I propose these changes to make it viable:
1 - Limit the bounty on a hero e.g. 400 gold max (that's in total, not per donating hero, so you can get a MAX of 400 gold off that hero)
2 - The bounty slowly decreases over time (cannot be added to while decreasing - the "shopkeeper" would obviously have a function to "start" the bounty)
3 - The timer for the gold to run out would include the timer for when you are able to post a bounty on that hero again. (so lets say that the bounty runs out over a period of 15min, you can then only post a bounty again once those 15 minutes are up regardless of whether you kill the hero or not - this would be to avoid targeting noobs)
This would not include the warning feature suggested above as then people would just play it safe while the bounty runs out. What you think?

Thank you wii, though I said the first thing, the other two are great ideas, eventually I will type this up into one long thing and post it so nobody tells me "this is stupid for (pre-explained reason) and you will feed" but yeah that would be a good idea. The warning was just a spur of the moment thing; I really didn’t get any thought behind it, as I write this in 7th period XD... I love not working at school lol.
