DAGON 5!!

If your enemy always escape before you can kill him, dagon is your solution.

But upgrade is expensive. The 1350 gold for upgrade can be use for other useful items.

Dagon 5 is good, but its not the best buy.
Many other better items (lvl 4 shop) are cheaper...for example...
HoT - about 5.5k
butterfly - about 6k
buriza - about 6k
etc..etc... =)

yeah,.. Dogon5 is expensive but it do a lot of work for Witch Doctor and Dirge hahaha,..

Maledict+Dagon5=GG
Plague+Dagon5=GG

hahaha,..

oh dagon 5..

actually i don't get Dagon 5 always,

since ahem, Dagon, Necrobook, Bashers are banned in the net cafe im playin, pretty sucks...

and when it is allowed, i usually hate INT heroes, so i don't pick em, so i don't go with Dagon, but if I do random an INT hero, then i usually have a Dagon and i always upgrade my dagon whenever i get it....

If you really want to do damage, stick with dagon 1 and use the gold you have to buy other damage items instead.

ofcourse you will not use it to everyone..use it to voljin or pugna to have a full effect..oh and what about the famous anubarak dagon combo?

with the money that you spend on lvl 5 dagon i have to say you would find better use ofi t buying items that counter the items the opponents got.

well... i just use it for pugna and or witch doctor., for pugna its just a dreamy item... but for other heroes, nay...

Imo, dagon is very situational.

1. I usually never get dagon in -em games, because ppl will get goot items/high experience pretty quick, and when ppl have that, the usefulness of dagon diminishes.

2. If the enemy team has many str heroes, I usually dont get dagon, since they will get high hp pretty quick, diminishing the usefulness of dagon.

3. Dagon is most useful, imo, when:
a) Enemies have several fragile low hp heroes
b) Your hero has other nukes to combo with the dagon
c) You managed to score a kill or two early, and is a bit higher lvl than your enemy. You feel that getting dagon will help you kill again.
d) You have other skills which synergise with dagon, like pugnas -spell resist or vol'jin's maledict.

4. If you die once or twice early, and is slightly lower level than your enemy, you'd better not get dagon. In this situation it's better to get escpape tools/disables, like eul e.g., to prevent dying again.
