I think that strategy approval should stay in hands of moderators.I mean DS really want only quality guides, and if you are a good guide maker and really want to write guides that will help all , you will wait for the approval.Its just they discourage bad guide writers i guess after all.

You can get around this by choosing multiple volunteers who a) aren't the author b) don't have a strat of that hero pending c) are active and educated member here at ds (I would say premium members, VIPs, users with megakills+ who people know as good, reasonable people in addition to the mods/support team/graphics team/Garfield)

also, if a guide was rejected, there could be a way for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism so the guide can be perfected and resubmitted

those should be easy to check


also, since the guides are so important, if the guides look like they took less than an hour to make, they should not even be considered (I can understand when this site was first begun that getting guides for all heroes was kinda important but not anymore)

Well, id accually have to agree with this.

BUT, we wouldnt pick just normal members to read over the guide, Well educated members that the Mods have looked over and have made great suggestions on in the forums. Like.. CFX and Ghost.

Both contribute alot to DS...

But then agian.. Maturity? CFX is only like 14 isnt he? and Ghost is 16? Hmmm I suppose another lost battle for Lestat.

i would do this.

the real main advantage is that it removes the whole, my strategy is pending thing, when will it be approved.

maybe they could attach a rejected stamp to it or something.

i would suggest.
well respected people, support team, vip and the like can go through and look at guides, nod or shun them...
then from there we get a shortlist that the mods and drew look at?

the easiest way i can think to implement this would be giving the ability to look at submitted guides to the vip group and up in the chain of command..

members > (vip > st) > [mods > drew]
(shortlisers)[deciders]

oh and i would need to be promoted to vip for this

go PM someone who is in a higher position than me if you really want this to happen lol. Even if i agreed with you guys (which i partly do as long as it follows what Ghost and Ganksta said), i cant do anything about this. You'd have to PM Drew.

thats just the flaw with my way of doing it...

drew has more expertise than me and could probably just give the ability to single users.
