Does orb affect really matter?

Hai guyz.

Made a replay for myself.

Version: Warcraft 1.21b
Map: DotA Allstars 6.51
Hero: Kardel Sharpeye
Mode: -test

You can see there that I made Mask of Madness + Sange and Yasha. I decimated some neutral creep camps and did not proc Maim. I proceeded to Roshan, attacked for a while, still no maim. I dropped my Mask of Madness then attacked Roshan again. That time, I proc'ed 2 Maims [the first one was Disentangled by Roshan]. I got my Mask of Madness again and finished off Roshan with no maim proc'ed.

mm yes.
now just to annoy you, did you try moving the items around in their slots, as well as following the orb table they also like to follow item slot ordering.

anyway i think that maybe you can use both sny and maelstrom... not sure, don't know who might use that but i shall test it anyway..
i say this but i know i wont.

well we can conclude malle did all this stuff not in 5 mins using a dice, and yukino didn't load it to DS because it's wrong

Damn...sometimes i get s n y and lifesteal anyway. sny for the +speed bonuses and lifesteal for the lifesteal anybody know if this is advisable? especially if the game drags and i already have sny ( i tend to get that first and more often then lifesteal).

Note: i'm talking about heroes like Loa and Sg (or any others that would be good to use)

I looked at Yukino's table and chain and maim will depend on the place on the item inventory..
the only item that other items will proc if paired with is cold attack (range) but that's probably because it's not an orb attack XD

gg for lestat

anyway I don't think sny will be as effective late game..I usually tend to sell it if the game drags on..


WOW I didn't know sylla's bear's entangle was an orb effect...wierd

Sange and Yasha is placed on the HIGHEST priority item slot [numpad 7].

well then there is absolutely no way i can think of stacking them now.

even then it doesn't stack with desolater stupid buff placer.

i want to see a proper Orber build.
BoT + Skadi + Desolator + Mjolliner + Satanic + SnY

I made a Drow build with the Skadi, Mjolliner and Desolator (and Lothars) once, worked reasonably well with the proper micro, it was based on the logic that you could farm with Mjolliner in the top slot then move it out for desolater when you found a lone hero then use the Skadi to survive and also when you move Mjolliner back to the top while desolater owning them if they make it into fog the weird thing where your slow arrows don't actually slow doesn't take affect.

I have since disused this build (mainly because of the ultimate remake) and am slowly refining it to loose the desolater and maybe take in a satanic.
=) im not insane.

Re: lol! I used to do that a while ago..but found that it doesn't even take full potential of items and I dropped an item (can't remember) because I was nearly dying and tried to change hahaha learnt my lesson there...

why deso on drow? I dont think I've ever seen that being done o.0

well the logic is if you use lothars to get right next to them you don't actually need your slow until they get such a distance away.
desolating their armor for a few seconds before they notice is bad for them, then when they start to run, activate frost then move skadi up in your inventory.

i can micro it well enough but i am a lazy dota player and have since taken to the glass cannon lothars build where you just aim silence then click and kill.
