Pestillence the Defiler

Pestillence...named after one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Perhaps the only close friend he has is Lesale Deathbringer, due to his constant radiating of poison. Pestillence, with his deadly skills to poison his enemies, proves to be a deathly force against any who even stand near him. It is said that the Venomancer even fears this grotesque beast.

Strength: 15 +1.7
Agility: 15 +1.9
Intelligence: 22 +2.5 (Primary attribute)
Base HP: 435
Base Mana: 286
Base Damage: 44-55
Base Armor: 2
Base Movement Speed: 280
Base Attack Speed: 1.40
Range: 500

Hero skills:

Dark Swarm - Active
The Defiler lets loose a cloud of small organic particles. With their disturbance, it causes anyone within the cloud to be blinded temporarily, rangers taking greater effect, for they require a clear sight to hit their marks. It also tends to distort spellcasters, causing their spells to occasionally miss their targets. 400 AoE, Lasts 10 seconds. 300 Casting Range, 20 Second Cooldown.

1st Level - 10% Miss Melee, 15% Miss Ranged, 5% Miss Magic 80 Mana
2nd Level - 20% Miss Melee, 30% Miss Ranged, 10% Miss Magic 100 Mana
3rd Level - 30% Miss Melee, 45% Miss Ranged, 15% Miss Magic 120 Mana
4th Level - 40% Miss Melee, 60% Miss Ranged, 20% Miss Magic 140 Mana

Defile - Active
Causes the ground that the Defiler stands to be cursed. Any enemy walking across the defiled ground will take damage and be slowed. In contrast, the Defiler is most adapted to this type of ground, boosting his speed as well as his regeneration. 700 AoE, 40 Second cooldown, lasts 15 seconds.
160 Mana cost.

1st Level - 3 HP damage per second, 15% Slow, 7% increased movement speed, 2 HP Regen per second for Defiler
2nd Level - 6 HP damage per second, 30% Slow, 14% increased movement speed, 4 HP Regen per second for Defiler
3rd Level - 9 HP damage per second, 40% Slow, 21% increased movement speed, 6 HP Regen per second for Defiler
4th Level - 12 HP damage per second, 50% Slow, 28% increased movement speed, 8 HP Regen per second for Defiler

Life Leech - Passive
Occasionally, Pestillence will drain the life of any nearby enemy. His body composes a life leech aura, sucking the life out of his enemies every few seconds. 300 AoE, occurs every 10 Seconds.

1st Level - 8 HP drained
2nd Level - 16 HP drained
3rd Level - 24 HP drained
4th Level - 32 HP drained

*for example, there are 5 creeps. Assuming that Pestillence is at Level 4, he will drain 32 HP from all five creeps, assuming that they are within the AoE, every 10 seconds so....32*5 = 160 HP recovery every 10 seconds. The more enemies, the more life gained.*

Ultimate Skill - Plague - Active
The Defiler spits a deadly Venom at his enemy, doing massive damage and poisoning the enemy. The poison radiates from the enemy, causing any nearby enemy to become inflicted with the poison as well. The poison can constantly link from enemy to enemy until the poison finally dissipates. Those who have already been poisoned through the 7 second duration cannot be poisoned again. 600 Range, 200 AoE radiation. 120 Second cooldown. Poison lasts 7 seconds.

1st Level - 75 Initial Damage, 30 poison damage per second. 150 Mana.
2nd Level - 150 Initial Damage, 60 poison damage per second. 275 Mana.
3rd Level - 225 Initial Damage, 90 poison damage per second. 500 Mana
Aghanim's - 300 Initial Damage, 120 poison damage per second. 625 Mana.

*Radiation Damage is poison damage per second. The targeted enemy takes both initial damage and poison damage. those who catch the plague only take poison damage.

Edit: I forgot that this was an intel hero so i buffed up the mana cost of Plague a little bit. Thanks for the Pointer

Skills:
1. Smokescreen without silence. AOE is pretty big, Make it around 400 instead. You can add a slight spell miss rate(20% at lvl 4) as well(can't focus or something).

2. Scorched earth variant. Damage and bonuses are pretty high. make damage per second into 3/6/9/12. Reduce MS slowing to 15/30/40/50.

3. Needs a nerf to 8/16/24/32. This rocks early/mid game, removing the need for regen rings(along with skill 2).

4. This deals 1440 potantial damage to initial target(with scepter)! Needs nerfing. Best remedy I can find is to lower initial damage to 400 damage. Lowers the potential damage to 1240, which is fairer than before. Poison is fine though.

Stats:
Needs Range. Hp is 150+(15*19)= 435. Mana is 22*13=286. MS is fine. Gains are below average(buff slightly).

Flavor:
Zergs want to take over the world of warcraft, so they infiltrate valuable units in scourge to slowly sieze power. The defiler does what it does best, defile. Scatters filth over large areas with its built-in plagues and sludge.

Overall:
Hero concerned over areas. Very good team support, weakening many units at once. Powerful nuke hurts, a lot.

1st skill, call it Dark Swarm, heheh..
What!? Just a suggestion

Ulti, should act like poison nova, but based on AoE radius circular targetting, and no initial damage, just plague damage, like in Starcraft if you remember. And should affect buildings, heheh..

As I remembered, the Defiler used to have these skills:
Dark Swarm - Already in your hero
Plague - Like my suggestion
Consume - Like Dark Ritual w/cast time

Hehe...Leave the Poison Nova to the Venomancer...
Giving this guy Poison Nova and Plague makes this guy a b**ch
And super poison damage on buildings....eh...mebbe just plague poison damage hehehe, nice idea...But if no initial damage...u gotta make the poison last a long time, and i don't like that...

Iz been a while since i used the Zerg on Starcraft..so i forget names hehehe...

Consume....eh....basically the life leech ya know..but Consume is basically for only one target...I got Life leech from something else...

I suggest making this hero meelee as then it will compliment the life leech ability.. and more mana consumption for your ulti. If u think about it.. he can become a poisonous night stalker. ooooo Smile imba
