Purge, The Debuffer?

I heard that icefrog changed purge so that it doesn't debuff the purged unit of its buffs. In the versions previous to 6.50, i knew that it did. Does it still debuff? For example, Medusa's purge used to remove Sven's God's Strength. Not sure anymore.

Yup. It does. It's a debuff: it slows the enemy. Instead of slow down, it rejuvenates a unit. It gives 200 damage on a summoned unit.

Yet, I just discover this when my cousin purged a conditioned unit.
