I never play -WTF mode before before T.T

Its like no one wan it in GG-Server ><

But this mode seems interesting and CRAZYYYYY !!!!!

wtf mode is completely crazy and ****ed up. NO effort went into it. its choc-a-bloc full of glitches. its there for INSANITY.

if you want to play wtf seriously, try doing Apemsh wtf. that makes things fair.

the reason its called wtf mode... would be lost then.. might as well call it no cooldown no manacost mode... or someting boring like that.. its ok if zeus spams his ulti.. buy a linkens...

I was once so pissed off at Zues, I took Storm Spirit and held shift while using Grapple. I grappeled straight into their fountain, and then back to mine in like 2 seconds. Zues got mad and started trolling . My point is that you have to come up with creative solutions to those "cheaters". If they have linkens, use an AOE. If they use BKB, counter with lothars and a silence.

these so called "cheaters" arent actually cheating...its their skills. Usually in -wtf games, the host has specific rules (no bkb, no globals, no tidehunter, no dagon, etc).

besides, if they take Zeus and Spectre and heroes with global ultis that kill, take silencer. Reach level 6 and then just spam Global Silence to completely screw tour opponents.




dohyun99's guide to -wtf mode


Best -wtf heroes (excluding globals):

-ES (Fissure + Enchant Totem + Echo Slam spam = nonstop stuns and creep blockage)
-Puck (Illusory Ord + Waning Rift + Dream Coil spam = long and short range havoc with disables)
-Tiny (Avalanche spam = nonstop AoE stuns)
-Tidehunter (Gush + Ravage spam = 1 vs 5 becoming 1 vs 0)
-Tinker (Heat-seeking Missiles + March of the Machines spam = mass farming/pushing/killing)
-Warlock (Rain of Chaos spam = nonstop stuns with an army of infernals)
-Techies (Land Mines + Stasis Traps + Remote Mines spam = dead rax/heroes)
-Abaddon (Aphotic Shield + Borrowed Time = near invisibility and massive AoE damage)
-Leoric (Hellfire Blast + Reincarnation = immortality with nostop stuns)
-Anub'arak (Impale + Vendetta = nonstop stuns with permainvis and backstab damage)
-Kael (Cyclone/Chaos Meteor + Deafening Blast = long range spells with disable and high damage)
-most healers (Purist, Rotund'jere, etc)
-mass army creators (KotL, Furion, Dirge, etc)
-crazy disablers (Atropos, Slithice, Void, etc)


The heroes listed above are some of THE best -wtf mode heroes. There are a few others like Lich, Rhasta, etc but the ones listed above are amazing. Basic rule for choosing heroes in -wtf mode: have either stuns, long range nukes, or great disables. Heroes like Techies however are role players. They are allowed to not follow that rule for they excell in another category. Techies for example, can take out any building in less than 5 seconds with his mines.

There are some heroes in theory who may SEEM good when in reality, they are not. Yurnero is one of them. Aside from spamming Healing Wards, he cant do much else. You may think he would actually be good due to Omnislash and Bladefury but he actually isn't. Bladefury gives you magic immunity so it is good to spam it but there is a catch in this theory. It's like this: Bladefury duration > 1 second of nothing > Bladefury duration. In that one second, you are veeeery vulnerable and if the opponent is spamming spells, you're bound to be hit. And after using an Omnislash, there is the same thing. You are left vulnerable for a brief amount of time which is actually enough time for someone to stun/kill you.

moving on...

The Best Items in -wtf mode:

-Dagon (spam for easy kills)
-Shiva's Guard (lags up everything when you spam it and the damage stacks)
-Linken's Guard (protection against most nukes)
-Kelen's Dagger (blink for surprise attacks and maybe get-aways)
-BoT (tele everywhere)
-BKB (magic immunity)
-Hand of Midas (mass farming)
-Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse (perma hex)
-Orchid Malevolence (perma silence)
-Lothar's Edge (perma invisibility)
-Helm of the Dominator (control 5 Centaurs FTW!)

Mek doesnt stack and Necronomicon/Manta is a waste

And that concludes this guide.

nice one dohyun but i really don't think that was needed since i think most people can figure that out by themselves and aside from that a guide for -wtf would make it sound like you're playing wtf in a serious manner when it's only suppose to be played for fun

haha lol. i love playing -wtf mode so i play it when i can and i must say, ive never lost besides this one game when it was -sdwtf and we all got Silencer lol. It was pretty lame and my team left so i left so technically i lost lol.

But yeah, it wasnt needed but just in case someone wanted to own in -wtf mode for once in their life and was wondering why they always died when they picked Axe in -wtf mode
