Transition from EM to NON-EM.

EM is fun and good for when you have a Uni Lecture in 1 hour or something
EM is funner (read noober..) than Non EM

I personally find Non Em much more enthralling.
However it's your taste!
But getting too used to EM will get you pwned when playing NON EM.

I try to balance the modes. However i prefer EM when im restless. Non-em is for when i want a good game and Garena XP.

Just to show you the difference with EM games and non-EM games. 7 minutes in, I had two creep kills and 900 gold (EM). 7 minutes in, I had 5 creep kills and 400 gold (Non-EM). There ya go =]

Best Games are EM
Annoying games none EM
Fun Annoying games Scrim/league "none EM"
BEST most FUN and the greatest games to watch/play League Players -APEM "11min radiances, 9min bkb" LoL great stuff

Play None -em games for 6 straight months really try hard and then go play public games that are -em, you will see the notice in styles, you feel like a giant grasshopper with a stone basket smashing little square apples because zues stands in the 4th lane by the purple tree bubbles, its really sad the domination is so harsh.

I've recently started playing non-em games quite alot as I have just started playing in the DotA league. I thought I was ok at last hitting and denying..turns out I'm not good enough and getting dominated. It's good though, I can only get better from here!

Keep trying at non-em! then go back to pubbies and EM and see how well you do. DOnt get back stuck on -EM though.

i found it horrific, the trouble is that you get less gold for kills, no money regen so to speak.

and even expirianced players will find it difficult.

it shocked me that i had been playing for 2.5 hours on a game and was only starting to reach end game.

i know youve probably ehard this over and over afgain but the trick is to last hit as much as you cabn, if you dont you will level up at the speed of a snail.
but even last hitting gives you little xp, ive noticed that the mana regen ect. still works ^^ so use spells to dominate creeps early game, then go a hefty excap[e to the fountain, and your ready for more farming.

mid game is just boring.. veyr little player's go hero killing becasue it has been so long in game hat they are bored senseless, and you get less money as it is. in non em mode you get less money rewarded for compeltly gtting godlike....


a good charactor for transphering non em mode are the simple agility chars such as traxex or dwarven sniper, these are good for killing creep waves at early stages. anfd you can get used to denieing too, probably one of the most difficult things to grasp.

if your mroe expirianced pick a strength char such as axe or roofrtrelen so you can tank out damage if you make little mistakes if your practicing just get 3 stout sheilds then sell them later when you ge into the game.

when your good enough that you can get the majority of creeps, farm succesfully and get level 6 within 10 minutes yor probably ready to go a whole game.

after practicing your probably wondering what now?

well an INT char is the hardest type to use on non EM modes becasue theycan get pawned by anything and anywhere, creeps will atatck ypou if you use AoE, tower can pretty much 4 hit you, and you cant last hit successfully becasue you hit too little damage as it is...

whatever you do dont try to fight roshan until your at least level 20 if your intel, and still you will struggle against him...

what in the world is -EM??? sorry for asking coz it was NEVER EVER introduced to me when I started playing DotA with my friends...They said it was horrible...but never told me what it is...

-em is easymode...towers are easier to kill, creeps are easier to kill..I think they give extra gold too
