@ cinnamon, mm psychological effect o.0, yeh I see people who are like omg! radiance already! gg..but tends to get over it quickely..

why radiance on leo?
personally S&Y suits abaddon much better but if you like rad, meh.
just not effective imo

Although Radiance may not be suitable for all heroes, there are some who can use it to greater effects. One example would be Mercurial.

Use her ulti and leave the images for 5 seconds, then replace it. 5x35=175 + a couple of hits. That would presumably bring the damage to about 300+. Dealing that amount of damage before you actually engage in a battle increases your chances of winning by a much higher percentage.

Not to mention, it works well with her Disperse skill. It does a nice moderate AOE damage to the opponents.

but wouldn't you say butterfly would be much better? I mean, you say immolation adds to the dps, but what if you increase her actual attack speed so they will hit faster and harder, so more dmg can be inflicted?
and evasion would be nicer than immolation regarding her dispersion.
ALTHOUGH, since it got completely revamped, I dunno. But still, immolation doesn't quite cover for the cost of the damn item

Only thing the radiance is good for is to negate nightmare (it does wheather ally or enemy)
Other than that, it is the crappiest item ever. Not even better than Oblivion Staff or Nathrezim Buckler

I guess it depends on the preference of the players, but I know what you're trying to say. Radiance isn't really worth the money. I've tried a radiance build myself, it takes a longer time to farm while the opponents are already building up on other items. Maybe they should reduce the price for a relic to balance out the cost and effects.

i prefer is when i am against bane or lanaya, it gets rid of lanayas refraction and banes nightmare. I prefer other items for farming or just going dps tbh, that being said its very annoying when an enemy has radiance, just stand there trying to push and ur creeps are dying.

Ok i can understand that the IQ capacity of a spoon is very low,
but do you all have to sink to the "Spoons" level.



Radiance is a Good item, A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY TEAM.


@M_g Lol you dont attack 3 times a second, Unless it takes you to level 15 to farm this item.


BTW Stop comparing Rad to Bfly, They are not of Similar costs .

I always get Radiance for Blood Seeker: Chasing your prey with immolation simply kills.

You got some really good points about Radiance's downsides compare to other lvl 4 items but you only discussed about 1 on 1 scenario: mkB actually surpasses Radiance... I will show you some scenatios that Radiance turns out to be a uber item:

1.Immolation really hurts in juggling and chasing.
2.8% Evasion seems negilgible but WTF you would think if you let a radiance-carried hero with 5HP ran away.
3.A team-clash will happen more and more often as the game drag on, that's when the Radiance can release its true potential. Radiance's immolation mathematically deals 28 dmg/sec each hero(with based 25% magic dmg reduction), on 5 heroes it deals totally 140 dmg/sec. The coolest thing is you don't have to attack them, just bumming around for gOD'S SAkE! .
Although it's quite hard to farm Radiance smoothly without disrupted dut to ganking but it's still worth getting.

what possible beneficial implications are there of Radiance on Terrorblade. I told you, do not state something without any backup.

Who said I take until level 15 to farm this item? I don't get it period.

I hardly think 28 dmg per second to all heroes are likely going to turn the battle. Chasing, and others have been talked about before

And it wasn't a question. It's called a debatable question, and I have stated my reasons for it. It's like doing a study...you ask a question to let the readers wonder about it, and want them to read more, and you base your arguments on why that is..and I'm not saying I'm right here, and you are free to argue your points.

OH stop with whines. Radiance on centaur - enemy hits u and receives 50+35dmg/sec while u have 4500hp and can't die, good enough? You stomp and 10 ranged creeps get on about 50hp, are u gonna hiti every 1 of them? Pudge - Rot
is now 135dmg/sec. Spectre -35dmg/sec + 45dmg when enemy's alone + ur attack dmg. Usually u will be chasing enemy hero when he is below 400-500 hp, and radiance'll kill him - that's how i got kills on centaur chasing lanaya, and forcing her out of Meld. That pesky rikimaru is at ur back invisible, u don't know it and he wants to backstab? If he stays near 10 more seconds he will lose 1/3 of his hp. Want to make use of Syllabear's bear while ur at low hp? Go to fountain and send him to go around creeps and heroes constantly dpsing them and maybe kicking in a few last hits with immolation.U're in alchemist's acid cloud? no problem, 70dmg/sec + if u're stunned for 5 secs that's pure 350dmg without alch even touching u. U're Dirge? Even better. With 4 zombies with 50 dmg and 35dmg/sec and your ulti that makes them 30% weaker u don't really have to punch anyone, just run around.

Situational.

Radiance is mostly for a hero who
1) Chases but doesn't have slowing spell
2) Disables himself while disabling enemy
3) Jungles a lot and creep pulls
4) Also for aoe spell heroes who's spell is only enough to make the creeps life very very low but not enough to kill
5) Have other aoe DPS damage(heartstopper aura, ion shell)

Radiance is not encouraged on:
1) Focused hero killers
2) Gankers.

i lyk the radiance,..nyc item..but there is a flaw
sumhow ghost is right,..der are many alternatives of radiance for the dmg...MKb buriza fury...evasion is not dat...but the special of radiance is dat to dmg ur enemies without even worrying them...immolation,.
