Im flattered that you had my name in there among the other people like Yukino, Shim, etc


anyways, besides the whole "PRO" as in a professional who gets payed for playing, i think of a pro player as someone who can adapt to any circumstance and know when to fight or retreat. Also, they would be able to improvise when needed and be prepared for anything. Finally, they must have the ability to be creative and co-operate/communicate with their allies.

and that sums it up for me

i blame you..

anyway a pro can generally lead the team and won't go crazy over a ks if it is beneficial to the team.
-will wait before picking in ap and repick if necessary in ar to try and counter the other team.
-should be competent with most heroes and very competent with a select few.
-hould make missing calls whenever a hero leaves his lane and keeps an eye out for missed calls from other lanes.
-know when to retreat

i totally agree with what raxxar said.

skills, being smart, and the best .. playing mind games with your opponents.

a lot of players on Garena often get mad at me and tell me im NOOB. LOL
especially when i play TB.

i stay out of sight for about 30 mins. and come out with
items like skadi,treads,radiance.

then they totally shut up after seeing how i dominate 4 heroes.


*it takes skills really to be a pro.
*the ability to anticipate your opponents moves in a glance.
*and out smarting them.

to be a professional dota player, you need:

- experience
- think faster than your enemy
- anticipate your opponents move in a glance
- patience
- can bring your team into victory
- knows all the heroes in dota
- knows when to fight and when to retreat
- playing with mindgames to your enemy
- playing with art

a player who has superb lane control, excels in denys/last hitting. can micro/hotkey well(high -apm) knows how to counter heros, build items according to hero line ups, and can carry with just about any hero.

A pro player is a player who can make the most out of every opportunity. A player that can predict the enemy's plot and plan a move to counter or evade it. A player that can gauge his capabilities against the enemy, so as to avoid unnecessary casualties. A player that will carry the team from early to late game. A player that has the will to play against all odds. A player that very well dictates the fate of the team.

Even though i could say i'm good, i just not the team player nor can i be the team leader, i'm solo as always.. so I can never be a pro.. lol

Define a PRO player.

A pro is one who...
Denies and last hits with great precision and accuracy.
Has great instincts on enemy whereabouts and doings.
Is resilient to alternative builds and tactics.
Stays cool no matter the situation.
Has experience in almost any hero.
Has great teamwork with almost anyone, even pubbies.
Does not quit no matter what. A pro can still lose.
Is a great sportsman. No trash talk and BULL.
Has a lot of fun when playing.

A pro player knows the twist and grips of the hero he uses and the FAQ's answers are logged in his head like a Mensa player of Dota...

well actually... i find many pros to be ppl who dont like to boast, who play in a fair way, they tend to have a very good game sportsman ship so they wont just quit midgame when their team is losing. pros normally beat me really bad because i play really violently and i just charge in and chaos mahem, but pro players know what they are doing and like the game. its kind of... like in basketball, pro people arent always so arrogant (NOT INCLUDING NBA!!!!) lol. my malaysian friend is a pro he taught me DotA and i never can beat him although he tells other people i am at his level lol.
