Define a 'pro' player.

I would love to see all of your opinions of a pro player.
I would like to see all of your definitions of a pro player!

I'm expecting replies especially from Yuki, shimmy, orochi, dohyun and cfx. *I have my reasons*

Just love to see what everyone's perception is.

I don't want to see anyone saying "Me"
Cos thats not funny Sad

I just want to learn a few things.

A pro knows everything about the character hero so he knows how to counter him, what to build and when to execute spells or attack. Can read his enemy's moves just in a glance Wink

for me, a pro player in the context of dota would be:

-someone who knows what type of hero his hero is
-someone who plays a hero the way he should be played, not 3 bf jugg
-some that has high understanding of his hero's skill and which he should prioritize
-someone who can make his hero effective the way it should be
-someone that can take and judge a risk, and survive to his assumption

ok just a few things. PRO is just good. Professional (if they actually spell it out) means they play seriously in tournys, for money.

Well besides the getting paid thing, I think it's safe to say a pro in dota is someone just... skilled... You just know them when you see them... I don't know, really really skilled... If they're playing a hero that depends on a certain combo to own, they execute it perfectly... If the hero needs to stay out of sight then come out later to own everybody, that's what they do....
