Balance and Imbalance!

Don't you think that some heroes are really imba and on the other hand there are a few that suck? I know that Montred has to be cosidered as the best cause after 4 basic recipes nothing can stop this assasin. Also bloodseeker's ultimate will make the difference in every game. Only some really noobs or really unlucky players can make their late game suck with late game heroes like fletcher, troll, void, venomancer, etc.
What I am sayin is that even though I like intellingence heroes I know that I must dominate the early game and end it quite fast if I am to win, but still even when I have great early game and some ally feeds, I can't stop the fed heroes( mostly agility heroes cause of the attack speed). Even couter items are not enough.
Shouldn't there be a more balanced way of usin your gold? I know that Orchid and Shivas are really good Int items that were made to face this problem , but there are some imba items like butterfly, mkb, Assault Cuirass. Shouldn't they reduce their skills a little bit?

Well I hate it when Akasha or Lina or Leshrac has got his/her Guinsoo Scythe. They hex you and hurl all of their nukes at you while you suffer the damage. Also, the ultimate of Axe and Necrolic is IMBA: They can crawl out from somewhere and kill you when you have lower hit points.

There are some Heroes that are better than others, obviously. In games where your enemies are not 5-year-olds, however, the late-gamers you listed will have trouble farming as they will certainly be constantly ganked. But in the end the late-gamers will obviously dominate the late-game (that's why they're called late-gamers, y'see?), so your role as a powerful early game hero is to keep killing them so that hopefully, the carries on your team are stronger than theirs.

Games have to be like this... its a law of games its impossible to balance a game when you have 2 different chars... balance is also a point of view, but if you want to throw the word "advantage" in for balance then it can be talked about and changed.

They could "balance" the game like they did in WoW... god that game is for such fairy carebear players, sware what they did to WoW is utterly funny and DoTa would become warm garbage if a "balance" was put in like in WOW...

Yeah WoW sucks and if you play it you are not a real player go home and learn to not cry about sucking at video games I hate you with a passion and I wish your death every night, baby jesus cries because you play WoW.

That's because you play pubs. Try playing an organized game - you'll laugh back at your statements with PA and Seeker being strong when in fact, they are mediocre and does nothing in an organized game.

The game is more or less balanced in a competitive perspective - meaning that both teams are playing as a team, to win. So unfortunately, the balance goes otherwise if you're not playing it as how it is made to be played.

and fight with him..

just kill them early game..

I agree with ganksta, some heroes ARE imba in -em games such as mortred void bloodseeker and Gondar especially.

lol the real imba heroes are the ones that own you all through earlygame, farm up, keep you underleveled and proceed to own you into late.

you don't often have that happen as people go picking mortred and BS ^_^;

Agree with Ghost a 100%
Think Tinker... Early on, double nuke owns you... Then he gets fed and buys himself imba mana pool and regen, and he nukes you... then rearms and nukes you... until you die really...
Also Mirana, Rexxar, Vengeful Spirit, Viper, etc... All those heroes have terrific early games (mirana arrow starfall combo, Rex's ult axe and PIG!, venge is just overkill with an ally early on and Viper can orb walk you to death as soon as he hits level 5) There are more, but still I think those are among the "best" heroes...
Not the -em stomping Mort and BS... put them up against a nuker in non em and see how they do...

oh god not the tinker nuke combo....

Shadow Fiend is pretty bad if he knows how to raze properly.
level 7 = 1200 damage nuke combo..
sure that dumbs down to 900... BUT WHO HAS 900 LIFE EARLY GAME? oh and this is all for 250 mana...
