Yes, half elf is likely an elf, they has elf skill, elf appearance, but since they only has half of elf's blood, normally they are banned from the elves. [and banned by humans too, how sad].

kaisuke cautiously approached the bushes where he last heard the noise...

he noticed footprints on the ground and a note...

"quite fresh" he exclaimed bringin the not with him he started following the track until it suddenly stop on a shallow swamp

this is useless... better try again tomorrow.. i must find some fire wood first... he said

After idle a while,
Shadow still sense that the "pirate" hasn't go from the forest.
She jumps out her hideout than again she aproaching her target again.
But this time, not from the front, she goes for his back.
Before the "pirate" react she lands her sword on his neck and stab his right hand using her other sword from his behind.
"Well, well, look who we got here"
"You, pirates, never learn. but you have a good nerve after the warn that I gave and still come further to the forest alone"
"And because of that nerve, I give you option, die fast without pain, or you life longer but much painfull"
"And don't worry about your body, there's a lot of animal which is hungry at this forest".

sorry lady i'm not a pirate and... second i won't die without a fight!

bring out his gun and fire a shot but the attackerable to evade(position is attacker on the top defender on the bottom)

because of the toggle kaisuke looses his eyeglasses but still tried to make a shot, he fire a shot but barely misses his target hitting it on the shoulder...

dang i can't see my glasses... as he starts too looks for he's glasses...

1. How can someone who is being attacked from behind, and also his right hand is being stabbed could counter attack?

2. How can someone who's put her sword to someone's neck and the wielder is an half elf who is proud of her speed could be beaten in speed then her target [someone who's neck is on the line, his right hand is stabbed and his opponent is on his back]?

BIC: That woman had the knife so tight on his neck he couldn't even dare to breath, only able to mutter incomprehensible blaber... S**t, he though, this babe is out to kill! after a second of waiting, she pushed him forward, clearly fed up, and ran away.

Kale saved his fall with his elbows, and traced his neck with his hand, thanking his god it wasn't cut.

"who is that girl?" he murmured.

A second later he heard a battle cry then a gunshot, Kale immediately yelled in fear... What the hell is this place, he thought, and why does everyone want to kill everyone. Damn i need something to defend myself if this keeps up!

Looking around he found a matchete(jungle sword, indiana jones style) hidden between the roots of the tree he was near. He reached for the sword and examined it, it was clearly notched out of repeated use, and had green remains of cutted plants on it. This will do.. I hope. Kale thought.

He grabed the amtchete and surged in the direction of the gunshots. Even though all his senses told him it was dangerous, something moved him in that direction..

After about a hundred paces, Kale reached a small clearing, inside he can vaguely see two people close to each other. He Slowly approached, careful to hide himself. When he got a bit closed, he saw a man with what seemed to be a gun pointed towards a woman with a small sword or blade. He gasped at the tension of that seen, and decided to wait and see what happens next.. Maybe he could ask them for help or something.

Summary of what's happening:

Kale landed on a desolate island. Yukino saw him fall and investigated. Kay, who apparently has been in the island for quite some time, decides to observe. However, he is sensed by Yukino. She tries to hide but is pursued by Kale. Shadow, a half-elf inhabitant, watches all the action. Meanwhile, Kaisuke also arrives in the island. Kale catches Yukino but is quickly overwhelmed. Sensing four unknown entities in the island, Yukino decides to hide herself. At the same time, Shadow intercepts Kaisuke, thinking that he is a pirate. A battle ignites. Kaisuke is wounded and Shadow is grazed. Kay tries to stop them from fighting. Kale is observing.
Meanwhile, Yukino..
