radiance or BF.....which is better for Dragon Knight?

90% of the time radiance. The only time I would make a battlefury is when the lane is hard and i got a ring of health and made a pers. Other than that mana regen wise, it sounds kind of stupid but oblivion staff actually works well if you are into spam farming with fire. Bonus on the side is extra mana for another stun and minor damage/attk speed. You can upgrade into orchids as last item or sell it for 800 gold if you feel like. It's really easy to make and the parts are cheap so it's a fairly expendable item. I almost always sell it.

to tell the truth i dont realy like BF on DK because it wont work when you are in dragon form and rad helps you in chasing

@cf[x] how did an additional 5dmg/sec make the old radiance more imba?

radiance does better for chasing but it dragon mode you will be able to chase no problem so it wouldn't matter too much, that being said radiance will give you more damage so you can kill enemies faster

BF is only useful if you want to spam your spells early game or if you can't farm up a sacred relic

Radiance is better - DK is a chaser so it works well. Bfury isn't as viable because you wont get your cleave when in elder dragon form.

Played ONE (lol) game the past 1-2 weeks and randomed DK (woot!).

Got Radiance for him and it worked well except for the fact that i attacked too slowly until AC lol. Main problem i have with Radiance is that your attack speed isnt fast enough until way later when Radiance isnt as effective. But asides from that, it works nicely once you can get your attackspeed up and start fighting heroes and hold them near you with your stun, movespeed, and slow from level 3 EDF's frost breath.

funny thing was, i ended up buying a Sacred Relic before any other items except my starting ones so i just ran around owning creeps but not being able to reach my enemies due to my slow movespeed

then i FINALLY got boots and STILL everyone could escape me when i was in my normal form. So then i got boots of travels and chased everyone down in my Dragon Form and farmed like a madman while teleporting to different lanes so i ended up being rich and dodging several ganks and being accused of Maphack. LOL


anyways, the point of that story was this: Radiance is a bad item for DK UNTIL you get some movespeed and attackspeed.

40 sec immolation owns badly in team battles, it's priceless

old radiance also gives 70 bonus to attack

radiance is superior than battlefury in farming because you can creep pull with it, meaning more gold

@topic it's an issue of money and radiance will always have the same effect where with battlefury you loose the cleave when you turn into a dragon, yes it gives you mana regen but DK doesn't need to spam his spells

bf hands down although he doesnt have cleave if he going dragon but its way cheaper than radiance.

you know what will work really good? buy void stone farmfarmfarm., heck he has hp regen already.. the key to a good hero usage is using his skills well and make up for what the hero lacks., after void stone then buriza asap then cuirass.. GGness.. got it..^^

I would say get both. Farm a pres. first, then if you are doing well, farm for your relic and radiance recipe. Then finish up your bf. Thats usually my strat with dk. After I usually get Satanic, AC, then heart. Hard to farm for all those items though if your having trouble farming.
