luna players always get manta on luna.
common build is.
~satanic
~treads
~butterfly
~manta
~black king bar
~sange and yasha

I would still believe that Hotd, BKB and Butterfly are the best items to go for, but a manta on top of that... could be interesting. I've thought about getting it a couple of times but decided to go for something else. I will try it next time.

I'll never get it. Manta doesn't make Luna able to surive, while Satanic does. Also butterfly will make Luna's attack so crazy.

Anyway, my build:
2 wraith bands
STR PT, AGI later
Lothar (optional, only if I need to escape)
Butterfly
Satanic
Maybe the 2nd butterfly! LOL

IIRC, SnY and Satanic NEVER stack.

@ topic:

Manta on Luna Moonfang is actually good. It helps a lot in pushing. I do get Manta Style on Luna sometimes. Hopeful

manta and maim is an orb but he use it for the stat gain...
while his working orb is lifesteal..
manta = illusions x2
sny = stat buff up illusions and extra movespeed and attackspeed
butterfly = buff up illusions
satanic = main item to survive and buff up illusions

IIRC.....
lifesteal overrides maim and feedback?
right?
so its cool....
no problem...

I am still a Lothars fanatic. Obviously you farm up a storm once you level Glaives though, items are not really hard to get. I find it more difficult not to kill them too quickly with Luna (except for the last time, that was shite).

You know, I can't do anything so well but I can tell if someone is telling lies about Dota. Sange & Yasha on Luna as an old and 'always' build on Luna? You gotta try better than that.

I have see some one pro gets Manta in veryvery late game that he selled HoD and buy manta i can admit that he after then was unkillable he killed 3 of my teammates in a blink with manta
