Damage: 63 - 69 | HP: 568 | Mana: 403
HP Regen: 0.91 | Mana Regen: 1.25
Attack Speed: 1.45 | Armor: 1
Shadow Swarm (w)
calls upon 6 shadows to damage and drain the enemy.
Level 1 - each shadow does 15 damage and steals 7 mana
Level 2 - each shadow does 20 damage and steals 10 mana
Level 3 - each shadow does 30 damage and steals 15 mana
Level 4 - each shadow does 45 damage and steals 22 mana
damages and steals mana (where applicable) from other units the souls hit while spiralling towards the target.
Mana Cost: 125/150/175/200
Cooldown: 18
Framework: the spirits would be purple wisps they fly around the target hero twice in a spiral getting closer and closer.
Notes: steals twice as much mana in the Shadow Realm
Shadowportal (d)
Maeve rips a hole in the fabrics of space allowing her to enter the Shadow Realm for brief periods.
Level 1 - Hole lasts for 5 seconds, if you stray more than 700 from the hole you are thrown back into the real world, enemies are slowed by 5% while in the Shadow Realm.
Level 2 - Hole lasts for 10 seconds, if you stray more than 800 from the hole you are thrown back into the real world, enemies are slowed by 10% while in the Shadow Realm.
Level 3 - Hole lasts for 15 seconds, if you stray more than 900 from the hole you are thrown back into the real world, enemies are slowed by 20% while in the Shadow Realm.
Level 4 - Hole lasts for 20 seconds, if you stray more than 1000 from the hole you are thrown back into the real world, enemies are slowed by 30% while in the Shadow Realm.
While in Shadow Realm you can only be seen and attacked by other units in the Shadow Realm.
While in the Shadow Realm all units become phased.
Shadow Swarm steals twice as much mana in the Shadow Realm.
Shadow Armour prevents twice as much damage and heals twice as much life in the Shadow Realm.
While in the Shadow Realm, Maeve can cast spells on those in the real world (with all the buffs Shadow Realm gives).
Mana Cost: 200
Cooldown: 30
Framework: creates a (small) demon portal where you are standing when you cast the spell, demon portal lasts for x seconds, right click on it to enter/exit the Shadow Realm, can only be used by heroes. you automatically enter upon casting
Shadow Armour (e)
Maeve summons shadows to dance around her offering her their protection, lasts 30 seconds.
Level 1 - reduces damage taken by 5%, when you are attacked the shadows steal 7 life from the enemy
Level 2 - reduces damage taken by 10%, when you are attacked the shadows steal 12 life from the enemy
Level 3 - reduces damage taken by 15%, when you are attacked the shadows steal 18 life from the enemy
Level 4 - reduces damage taken by 20%, when you are attacked the shadows steal 25 life from the enemy
Mana Cost: 120/130/140/150
Cooldown: 30
Framework: something like bone armour from Diablo II
Notes: damage reduction and life stolen are doubled in the Shadow Realm
Ritual Darkness (r)
Maeve plunges the Shadow Realm into complete darkness.
Level 1 - lasts 5 seconds, the Shadow Realm boundaries are disabled, units are slowed 2x as much as they otherwise would be.
Level 2 - lasts 10 seconds, the Shadow Realm boundaries are disabled, units are slowed 2.5x as much as they otherwise would be.
Level 3 - lasts 15 seconds, the Shadow Realm boundaries are disabled, units are slowed 3x as much as they otherwise would be.
players lose control of heroes in the shadow realm and the area gets blacked out by fog of war, the heroes cannot attack or cast spells for the duration. the only exception to this is Maeve.
Mana Cost: 200
Cooldown: 60

Interesting hero as always, Ghost. But here's a thought: Wouldn't the Shadow Realm empower Balanar?

its not night, its simply really dark, balanar draws his power from the moon.
shadow realm is designed to be a parallel dimension (essentially doubling the potential fighting area on the map), when you enter it, you lose sight of everything that isn't in the shadow realm and everything outside loses sight of you, naturally all the terrain is still there (but you are phased and can ignore it) but everything else is gone (units)... but you are also still within the exp range of anything in the corresponding position of the real world...
there is great potential imbalance in this hero.. but it is only there if people follow you into your element, its like fighting balanar 1v1 at night.

anyway shadow swarm is a work of framework genius ^_^
shadowportal is just prawnsanity, makes you imba, if people are stupid enough to fight you in your element.
shadow armor provides good survivability..
and ritual darkness makes the world go OH NOES...

but who would go inside the shadow realm anyway? unless they dont know that your power doubles there
btw im not sure this hero can be put in dota coz of shadow realm. Its too hard to make, as far as i know. Im a map maker

so am i, i have made it...
just one big trigger behind entering realm.. (despite looks it is all under one trigger)
simplified because i cfb loading other computer for the actual trigger..
when:hero unit:stops on unit (portal):gains 0 collision size:gains ability (shadowrealm)
then actions
when:hero unit:with ability (shadowrealm) leaves the area=700/800/900/1000:from:unit (portal):dispel:ability (shadowrealm)
ability (shadowrealm)
gives buffs
custom ability:shadow:affected unit is invisible (unable to be seen by truesight)
custom ability:vision:gains vision of all units with the ability shadow.
custom ability:spell:can only be affected by spells cast by heroes with the shadowrealm buff
now this is what i am disputing with myself...
should maeve be able to cast spells on units in the real world while in the shadow realm?
leads to...
custom ability:blah:can only cast spells on units under the shadowrealm buff
custom ability:maeve:if hero name alias=maeve:and IF:hero is under the shadowrealm buff:modify skills accordingly...(lazy me)
allies might use shadowportal to initiate a gank, if you use it like a team invisibility spell and they find it , they may try using it to their advantage...ultimate right about now to prawnzor them...
you are on low life, you shadow portal and run your ass off to get to the 1000 range border escape because they don't know what way you might go..kinda like a blink...

31 int, 22 str i think to much. This hero can be like axe who can tank creeps. with the 3rd skill, creeps will be healing her instead of damageing her.

she doesn't have anything else going for her really, her nuke is pretty crap for the manacost in the real world.
i have decided that maeve can cast spells from the shadow realm onto those in the real world ^_^
to give people incentive to follow you into the darkness

not exactly. balanar is a vampire who is vulnerable the direct rays of the sun. He would get that power even if there is no moon night.

lol well he wouldnt get powered up, as his skill is triggered at night, and this woud only make it night in a specific area of the map, which can't be done.
