Thanks for reminding me I have to get ep 7 of Desu Note...
Ah! Reminds me of something weird, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Recommended by me.

Kinds of weird:

1. No plot/Pseudo-plot - Show operates without a plot or has a semblance of plot but won't be noticed anyway. ex. Excel Saga, Galaxy Angel

2. Deep plot - A portion of brain is a necessary sacrifice to grasp the show's plot. ex. FLCL, Evangelion

3. WTH!? plot - Concepts so insane, it's just weird. ex. Kogepan, Dogtato-kun

4. Narrow plot - Show focuses on a certain craft, game or hobby to an extent that possibly the whole world may revolve around it. ex. Pokemon, Beyblade

5. Disturbing Plot - Disturbing concepts realized through visual media. ex. Angel Tales
(seriously, would you build your harem off souls of dead pets? 1.They're souls. 2.They're souls of pets 3.They're souls of dead pets 4. there has to be 12 of them. I might not mind if there is 1 dead-animal-soul in my harem, but 12!?)

6. Recycled/Milked plot - Our first season was popular, lets make 20 more sequels/OAVs/Movies/seasons off it. ex. Gundam, Inuyasha

7. Gore - Lots of blood and violence. Blood pours like rain. ex. Dokuro-chan, Higurashi

Genres: Fantasy, Historical, Horror, Mystery, Psychological, Supernatural
Plot Summary: Tired of writing riddles for children, Yamaoka Momosuke plans on gathering spooky and gruesome stories and publishing them in an anthology called Hyakumonogatari ("One Hundred Tales"). While researching these old myths and legends he comes across a mysterious trio who call themselves the Ongyou. They are detectives who are investigating the legends to reveal their truths...and bring those in the wrong to justice. Each time Momosuke meets the Ongyou he must face horrible truths and battle with his morals, but he's seeing things he shouldn't be seeing...
