best item would have to be heart, i mean, as good as mantastyle is, you only get him one, but hearts? you just keep on getting em...

I agree with War Wrecker. Mantastyle for mass copies or Heart for lots of health. Possibly a Battlefury also. The damage boost, the increased regen, and the cleave would be great. Also a Buriza just to put up your natural crit too.

I prefer SnY than Manta. Chaos knight doesn't have attack speed. No attack speed = no critical
the second item after SnY is AC

the best item for him is heart....

it boost his images hp AND damage!!!

images only benefits from stats increase,so pure damage item is not a wise choice on him....

But he has chasing speed (325 with no items), Heart is so much better and like sin_slayer91 said, the images only benefit from stat boosts. Also,the images won't lifesteal so vlads is only helpful for the real chaos knight.

yea, it seems like people like to use vlads on image hero,thinking that the images will lifesteal..... for god sake, images will never lifesteal......

vlads is for healing and mana.
I think images take the damage boost from the aura as well but thats secondary. As CK dont build for your images. Build to do the damage yourself.
I never get a heart (CK is no real tank). I dont get manta ( I already have images). You need 2 items to rule anyone when singled out...these are vlads and S&Y while S&Y is more important, you need vlads to stay on lane afterwards and mana early.

Buriza then to add to your crititals ( you have AS by now).

you have a VERY good critical.. second highest in the game. you dont need buriza.

and please dont "build" items for your images. you have images once in a bluemoon anyway and they only stay for 20 seconds.

imo the BEST item for chaos knight is

BATTLEFURY

why? good damage good regen for hp and mana

and cleave splashes crits.

i got a triple kill the other day with nessaj with one battlefury and vlads

I think SnY much usefull for CK.
First, buy Null (boost int stat), than bracer, power treads, SnY, and AC.
This is my build for CK. I think this build is very reasonable. In early game, your mana pool isn't enough to blink + bolt + phantasm so you need null talisman. If you want to use vlad or HoT and maybe Skadi is up to you. But SnY is the core Item. I don’t recommend Manta. Manta = low hp = fragile
