Vendetta Question

Hi guys im asking if I use vendetta and I hit someone with evasion eg: Mortred,Darkterror

Can the evasion proc? wasting my vendetta

darkterror can through backtrack as it functions differently to evasion.

otherwise no, it can't be evaded.

much like the additional damage from blink strike.
consider it a spell cast upon attack that does x damage.

answered above by Ghost.. only backtrack can evade it, the old dispersion can do it too... and oh.. lanaya refraction can block it, but not evade it.

vendetta can't evade by example: blur, butterfly

but it can evade by disperse and backtrack..

it can however evade your actual attack... i think..
just not the bonus damage.

@Topic: no, vendetta cannot be evaded as a normal attack.... the damage is a back stab bonus damage and cannot be avoided.... however.... as already mentioned.... spell evasions or damage absorption skills like backtrack, aphotic shield, spectre's old dispersion, and borrowed time can....

on how these spells works.... i'm too lazy to repeat again.... i'm written that many times before i believe.... try searching.... if you're lucky.... you'll find my post from way way way long ago....

When darkterror's backtrack activates you recives the damage, and backtrack the instantly heals the damage.

It's a sure hit. It's imba for a hero that can evade Vendetta with either butterfly or any evasion based skill. Remeber, 300+ crit damage. Huge loss XD

Let's see the meaning of evasion.

It's the chance getting the enemy to miss to you.

So there is a probability that Vendetta can miss.

The backstab damage of it is physical.

Hmm.. I think I'll go for Ghost's description... The actual attack may miss, not the backstab...
And yeah, Void's Backtrack is just sick...

Just Got a question about backtrack. What if the damage inflicted to void was more than void's hp. How would backtrack be able to heal something that doesn't exist. would that mean that even though it backtracked you would die?
