I know what a backdoor is, and for those of you who don't it's attacking the enemies base without creeps. Now I played in a recent game, and there was questions and accusations that I cheated by backdooring. I was Dirge, playing against Chen in top lane. He chased me away, and my creeps followed him. I was almost dead but I soul ripped myself to about 200 hp and ran away. Once healed, I saw that the creeps who had chased Chen were attacking the tower. I used my BoT's to get there, and destroyed it. The problem was that there was a Scourge creep wave half way to my tower battling one of my Sentinel waves. Chen accused me of backdooring and left. I have no replay, I'm sad to say.



So what do you think? Backdoor or no?

technically this is a backdoor and it was accidental up until you teleported there and started attacking the tower

it would have been fine since (I'm assuming) you were having you minions attack chen who then went out of vision causing the zombies to autoattack the tower that was attacking them while you were controlling your hero and running away

if you intentionally issued a command for the zombies to attack the tower then it is backdoor

My bad, to be more precise when I say creeps I mean both my zombies and two waves of Sentinel creeps.

Yeah you busted a tower! <--Top gun wtb a remake?

But anyways yeah u bd'ed atleast you are man enough to ask, I hate people who dont do "bd" like things till they are in a pinch

Love it when you are in a good game and everybody is respecting eachother games close then one side nocks out 2 raxes and could of easly walked to the other sides to take out 2 more inside the base with out pushing those lanes but retreat, then later that game the weaker side gets a chance and nocks out 2 rax while inside the base they DO take out the other raxes with out repushing those lanes...... Just disrespectful and if you back that type of play you are not leet because of rules, you are a scrub who has no sportsmenship <----over comes any of your dumb ass tda rules or L2P spams.....

Push the lane get the 2 raxes ... push the next lane simple concept fked by noobs watching league or leet games in pinches needing a win FOR MONEY......gdi I hate bnet...

Well the general rule as far as I know and also see in pro replays is that once you've pushed 1 lane to your enemy's base and destroyed the buildings for that lane, you're then allowed to move onto other buildings from inside the base because you're there already. However take note, you HAD TO HAVE pushed a lane WITH creeps and taken out the buildings for THAT PARTICULAR LANE before targeting other raxes. If you leave the base or get pushed back before getting chance to do that then you have to push one of the other lanes legally again in order to do that.

if they were then this is a BD

There was a Scourge wave by where the top first Sent tower would be(this tower was dead, they were fighting a wave of Sent creeps). In my opinion this isn't a backdoor because there was a creep wave attacking the tower when I ported to them. Maybe the creeps should get called for backdooring..

Ahhh . .

So the creeps were lured right? . .

Uhmm . . let me get this straight . .

your in the top lane . .

your a sentinel . . so you have your sentinel creeps and chen has his scourge creeps . .

Ok . . so at the top lane you tried to escape Chen in a SOUTH EASTERN direction . .

that way the creeps that chased chen would crossover the scourge waves that they should have battled and will have to push further, which was unto the tower . .

is that how it goes? . .

first off the only backdooring that isn't allowed is teleporting/entering the enemy base and attacking any buildings without your creeps present.

people complain when you attack their tower without creeps (nearby) and as you had creeps, no it is not bd.
and the only reason your creeps were there is because chen failed when he chased you, baiting your creeps into the forest and then having them circumnavigate your own creeps.

IMO ,he quitted because he failed to chase you down and got his tower destroyed with defending it . .

WAIT! . .

this isn't a 1v1 game right? since it was in the top lane . .

Doesn't matter. Backdooring is legal anyway.

PS. Since there were Sentinel creeps, it's not backdooring.

Backdooring is legal. But I don't like it.
If we lose 2 line, it's very difficult to counter it.
If the enemy destroy 1 line and continue backdooring on second tower and barrack in diffrent line it's unfair.
So, I don't like backdooring.
