Damage: 42 - 54 | HP: 606 | Mana: 364
HP Regen: 0.97 | Mana Regen: 1.13
Attack Speed: 1.4 | Armor: 0
(Stats are Jakiro's)
SKILLS:
Bone Spear (B)
Summons a long shaft of bone piercing and dealing damage to any opponents in its path.
Level 1 - Deals 100 damage.
Level 2 - Deals 200 damage.
Level 3 - Deals 300 damage.
Level 4 - Deals 400 damage.
Manacost: 85/ 105/ 125/ 145
Cooldown: 15
Framework: Trang'Oul spits a glowing missile which moves fast in straight line.
Notes: Nuke with great damage but requires good accurancy. Basic idea is same as Miranas arrows exept that this doesnt stun. Range would be about the same as Elune's Arrow's.
Fear (E)
Trang'Oul lets loose a a wicked cry, terrorizing enemy units. All enemy units run uncontrollably directly away from him.
Level 1 - Lasts 1.5 seconds
Level 2 - Lasts 2 seconds
Level 3 - Lasts 2.5 seconds
Level 4 - Lasts 3 seconds
Mana Cost: 80/ 90/ 100/ 110
Cooldown: 15
Framework: Howl animation and similar animation on affected enemies.
Notes: Like Axe's Berserker's Call exept the opposite. This is a disable as enemies cannot control their heroes while under effect of Fear. Great synergy with bone spear: When enemy is running directly away bone spear is guaranteed to hit. This is also a great escape skill.
Freeze (Passive)
Whenever Trang'Oul casts a spell the air around him freezes, damaging and slowing nearby enemies for 2 seconds.
Level 1 - Deals 25 damage. 10% slow.
Level 2 - Deals 50 damage. 20% slow.
Level 3 - Deals 75 damage. 30% slow.
Level 4 - Deals 100 damage. 40% slow.
Framework: Frost Nova animation around Trang'Oul.
Notes: Great synergy with all skills and extra damage.
Appear (R)
Moves Trang'Oul to another location on map for a short period. Minimum range 400
Level 1 - Lasts 6 seconds
Level 2 - Lasts 8 seconds
Level 3 - Lasts 10 seconds
Manacost: 100/200/300
Cooldown: 100/80/60
Framework: Nothing particular. Just a spooky sound.
Notes: This skill can be cancelled at any time with another skill named disappear (same hotkey). This is also a multi purpose skill. More of this later.
SUGGESTED SKILL BUILD:
Fear, BS, Fear, BS, BS, Appear, BS, Fear, Fear, Freeze, Appear, Freeze, Freeze, Freeze, Stats, Appear, All stats
SKILL SYNERGIES:
Bone Spear + Fear
As I said before, Bone Spear is guaranteed to hit when enemies are running directly away.
Appear + Fear
Appear behind enemy and cast Fear. Enemy runs towards your tower.
Freeze + All other skills
Extra damage and slow goes great with all of the skills.
SUPER MEGA COMBO:
Get near enemy -> Cast appear in another location (100 damage from level 4 Freeze) -> Cast disappear and you are back in same location -> Cast Fear (100 damage level 4 Freeze) -> Cast Bone Spear (400 damage + 100 damage from level 4 Freeze)
700 damage minus magic resistances.
ITEMS:
Shiva: Extra damage extra slow
Radiance: You should know why :P
Dagon: Maybe not that good but I'm sure that would work
BoTs: SPEEEEED

Isn't the ulti too weak? Just like furion's teleport, but you can only stay there for a maximum of 10 seconds. Maybe it can be a appear behind a unit and deal bonus damage.

Its like 2 teeports without channel time, like when you are farming and need to help your ally somewhere else or to finish off running heroes and to retreat safely back home. It's a bit imba I would say. Besides there is the combi he described.
I loved the ulti, and the other spells but try to be a bit original in description and icons. And bone spear does too much damage for multiple units.

3 secs moving away is imba escape spell.

@The Gunslinger & SwaBluPhnx: Well I was thinking that Bone Spear would pierce all units that come to its path like in Diablo 2 but its hard to aim just as Elune's so thats why there is high damage and also its his only nuke... Besides if you look at Butchers Hook the damage doesnt seem too high.
@SwaBluPhnx: I don't think the descriptions and icons are very important at this point its the effects and synergies that matter.
@bloodcraft: the skill was actually ment to be a multi purpose skill but maybe you are right. It could be better if the duration was 1.5/1.75/2/2.25 sec or something like that

trang'oul is NOT A DRAGON.
now i know that diablo III has had an announcement, and an official site made for it, but this is not an invitation to make bad heroes out of diablo II characters.
stolen stats, then you use 2 skills which are reasonable rips from d2 (showing loyalty) then you make 2 crap skills that are completely irrelevant to the character.
pssh i could make a better necromancer in my sleep.

i think its a good hero, and 3th/4th spells are innovative
cmon every hero has atleast 1 unoriginal spell in dota

lol nah the ultimate is innovative, sorta.
freeze is a modified earthshock.
as i said, the rip spells are reasonable, hell me and shim made an assassin based hero. (natalya - cold maiden)
it ran off my cold claw build.
i like that build.

:E I thought he was a dragon :E well whatever the name isn't relevant... he could be named anything else or changed to look like whatever Trang'Oul then is...
@Ghost: I "stole" stats from Jakiro cause they don't matter... I used only 1 skill from D2 and I think all skills fit this hero... and what makes them crap? You also mentioned "rip skills"... I'd say only Freeze is a modification of another skill the other ones are definately original but have just similar features as other skills in dota. Almost every skill in dota has a comparison with some other skill...
@bloodcraft: Yea maybe the damage then is too high even though it is his only real target nuke... would it be better if the damage were something like 100/175/250/325?

stolen stats..
you change 3 values by plussing and minusing equally and they become unique, thats 15 seconds of work, you could just do that.
fear is a remake of a diablo II curse.
^_^
but used more like a barbarians war cry.
as i said, earthshock tweaked to be weaker.
so basically stolen (kinda) and weakened
and appear is innovative but somewhat useless.
10 seconds of escape isn't going to help, useful for fountain trips early game and thats about it.
when they know where you disappeared from, they will know where you will reappear.
then you will probably die.
your grand combo does 700 damage.
linas grand combo does more than double that (without items)
quadruple with items.

Why I should change the values if I think they fit this hero? Besides the right values can only be found out by test playing...
Appear is not useless... Read what SwaBluPhnx said. Its like Spectres ulti combined with Furions teleport... You think they are useless?
This hero wasn't actually designed to be a chain nuker as Lina.

expcept you have 10 seconds in which to do something before being thrown back into a potentially waiting 2/3/4/5v1 situation.
so why give him the stats of a chain nuker.
hence you change them.
you can work out roughly the right stats without play time and even if they are almost the same, it really doesn't matter if fagon is balanced with those stats, take away .1 from int and give .05 to str and agi per level.
do you really want to try argue further?
