Tinker's Rearm
Posted on Tue Jun 20, 2006 2:11 pmI got to ask. How many of you guys have yet to realize that tinker's rearm can refresh the cooldown of items like bkb, linkens, bot, etc
Just asking because I am shocked by the fact that even up to this day day, players still keep asking me as to why my cooldown for Bot or any item with a cooldown, be activated again so damn quickly. Even in battlenet!!!

I guess not that many people use Tinker because it takes some skill. Don't be shocked anymore. Nobody uses that guy, but that's a good thing if you like Tinker. Like our forefathers have said, ignorance is bliss. Hehe. I dunno who said that.

Here's the item that cannot be Rearmed:
-Helm of the Dominator(Dominate skill)
Here's the items that can be Rearmed:
-Manta Style
-Dagon
-Boots of Travel
-Black King Bar
-Linken's Sphere
I'll add more if they can

2 more Items that cannot be rearmed
The Refresher (due to the fact every second counts and being an instant refresh...)
Hand of Midas (Oh the gold I would have earned...sigh)
And the one item people begged or should I say pleaded to take away from tinker...
The Necromicon (With this baby you can burn mana, have cool aura's, true sight and 2 mini servants to do your bidding, all in one friggin book)
And every time you try to rearm these items
For example refresher with a cooldown...lets just say 120 sec,
60 sec left to go before cooldown you rearm and presto instant 120 sec left to go...again.
If these 4 said items could have worked with arm you would be a rich freaking demigod, with an all seeing eye, having all the time in the world, and poor Chen would be obsolete. (Man tinker was so damn imba in the old days.)
Other items that can be rearmed
1. mekansm and the Nebu buckler( for the people who want to be a support hero)
2. euls (yes the cooldown is fast but when your fate is in the hands of 2 enemy heroes...)
3. Satanic (though extremely tempting trust me not always worth the gold...except for some unique situations)
4. And let as not forget the Guinsoo aka "sheepstick" (Once feared when in the hands of the tinker because of the dreaded permahex, but alas due to the increase in mana cost when activating rearm you can only pull of 2 to 3 hexes)
And if we have missed anything pls post...for it may come handy
