Traxex - Stygian Desolator

so like the table shows, Frost Arrows will override the Corruption from Desolator whether you autocast or manually cast

@arboks you probably shouldn't get too mad, but that's your choice not mine

@topic All you need to orb walk is 1 lvl of Frost Arrows so you skill build could be

and you wouls till have a ridiculous amount of damage

As for using both Desolator and Arrows, the Corruption Buff lasts for 5 seconds which, as arboks says, will be longer than the hero's life span, so after the first attack that puts the -armor on, you can switch to frost arrows since you won't give any more negative armor and the slow form the arrows will prevent them from escaping. If they do last more than 5 seconds, just switch back to Desolator for 1 attack and then repeat again.

@arboks corruption doesn't exactly help you neutral creep either, but to get the best of both worlds, use the skill build above, it has arrows and your stats + aura build

Whether you get Desolator or not is based more on your own play style. People seem to agree with Lothars being a good item on Drow. Whether you want to get a Bfly, Desolator, or Buriza after that it up to you. You'll have insane damage so it won't matter too much.

I prefer the frost arrow more than the desolator...you can escape ganks by using this...I sometimes use this arrows to escape enemies and when they are slowed, I play with the fog and suddenly they say "WTF!?!? where did he go???"...But it's still your choice not ours...

Getting Deso is a viable option, if I were to get it I'd get directly after Lothar's. Efficient use of it however requires a little bit more effort from the user and IMO you wouldn't need the negative armor, in my build for her Cuirass provides negative armor along with ASPD and armor for yourself. IIRC CF[X] mentioned somewhere that Deso was the item that provided the most DPS for your money.

Deso is the item which makes ur enemy TAKE IN the most damage in most cases.

MkB surpasses Deso in some cases.

deso is good for her!! try this! first use ur frost arrows once or twice then get near the target... then attack w/ deso! ouch! repeat process= pawnage!O_O

hmm....i heard some ppl said now that a range hero can have 2 orb effects...i tried on some hero like luna and huskar it works with 2 orbs..(im not sure about travex,i havent tried on her)...so if u want to slow and desolator....get skadi and deso through

you can't have 2 orb effects....
skadi is not an orb effect for ranged heroes
but you still can't get skadi and deso
because deso is so omgpwnage, it stacks with NOTHING.....
Skadi + anything else (mjollnir, lifesteal, etc) is viable....

OT I think frost arrows are much better. The frost arrows are the reason that I got my first godlike streak.... Deso just doesn't seem to be worth the effort to use or the money to farm when you can be well on your way to bfly (eaglehorn and quarterstaff for 4300 vs 4420 for deso)...
