I don't hotkey my hero.
I use the default F1 hotkey instead.

@folechno silly u dont need to hotkey it just use F1 =P
@topic yea its also really dificult when u wanna ult techies with a single target spell or something and hes surrounded by GIANT @$$ TANKS :/

Wow I'm first to bash this? Little guys are smaller and should be harder to hit with an arrow for example. For realism, fire 10 arrows from range at Pudge, then 10 at Rikki whats gonna happen?
IF they CAN be changed, might make a cool ult. Like Global Minimize all teams circles for 3-4-5 seconds? Everyone have to attack walk and would be interesting if creeps were around.

zzz junki3 we all realize the realism here... some of us hate tho how some large heros (THD, atropos) have tiny circles... besides... every1 likes to complain bout something and these threads just make us happy =]

Don't randomly click, keep your cool, walk by hero, then when you find where the circle is, NUKE THE F*CK^N SH*T OUT OF THEM.
But it's hard to do, especialy if he is near a tower.

The circle you all are talkin about has absolutely NOTHING to do with a hero being easy to click on or not...
You can even change that circle in the Warcraft World Editor (if you make your own map or something) and it doesn't change one single thing about it being easy or not to click on a hero...
That freaking circle is just there, so that one can see which units one has selected - thus usually taking a small circle for big units just makes it harder to see, whether you actually selected that unit (ignoring the fact that you obviously won't be able to use your hero without selecting him...)
So all you guys have to complain about is the way the models of those certain heroes are made... (eg. Bounty Hunter - better don't count missclicks here

Ryusei's right...
this is sth you can change in World Editor... its called "selection scale"... u can scale the model and the selection size separately, relative to the unit which the original model came from. for example... anyone who tried to 6.59 totem quests would've noticed how hard to pick up the totems are, coz they have really small selection scale value...
i guess standardizing the selection sizes for all heroes would be a positive change in dota... maybe someone can suggest that to icefrog!

especially bane elemental.. the hardest hero to click, and leshrac maybe the easiest, I dont know..it is easier to click on courier than bane..

Doesn't it have something to do with collision size? The most annoying thing for me is hexing a unit and then being unable to unload nukes/other disables. Especially Rhasta and Lion, who have powerful single-target abilities >.<

its the collision size, and it can be changed but that would make it a different map
collision size determines damage from clicks or AoE's, i.e larger collision size, easier to eat potm's arrow

yep i hate it. and its hard to animation cancel cause its hard to click. those who know how to animation cancel shld know... argh. but at least they made the tanks like centaur easy to click. and sylabear's bear is DAMN easy to click. i sometimes laguna blade it by accident -.-
