With Scepter:
Lion - 787.5 damage
Lina - 937.5 damage
Luna - 1200 damage

You're wrong about Lion. Finger of Death doesn't get close to 1,000 damage.

bane elemental with refresher and mantastyle and necronomicon can do in excess of 4k combo damage

you guy's are all forgetting ogre magi's ulti:

30% chance to do 1375 damage with scepter, 20% to do 1100 damage without.

also necrolyte can easily do up to 2000 damage on your average tank late game with scepter

1000damage to a single target: considering P. and M. def. Not many.
1000damage in AOE: sooo many.

Ult staff Lina can do 1000 at once. Suicide works. Mortred crit, mana void if you have uber craploads of mana.
